After much anticipation, Durum has finally opened - Hooray - and it did not disappoint. This is hands down the best pasta and bread you can get anywhere in the area - it’s like being in Italy! I love that it is organic. Everything is fresh and delicious. I purchased pasta, sauces, bread and pizza there - all are heavenly. I will be a regular here! The pasta comes in many varieties - you will want to buy them all! The bread is so amazing I dream about it - the olive bread is perfection. The pizza by the large square slice is fantastic as well. They also have some prepared foods which I did not try but they looked great, and a pantry section, as well as cold drinks - a lot in glass bottles - love that! The staff is friendly and patient and the place is sparkling clean. You can also watch them making pasta, etc...right there. I highly recommend Durum to anyone who loves great food—this place is...

Great food, prepared meals and fresh bread are my favs. Durum on Eastern Avenue has recently stirred up quite a buzz with their new gigantic Italian sandwiches. I had the chance to try one, and it was indeed a memorable experience. The sandwich was generously filled with a flavorful combination of meats, cheeses, and fresh vegetables, all expertly seasoned to create a harmonious taste that left me wanting more.

However, I found the bread to be a bit too hard for my liking. While it did hold up well against the hearty fillings, a slightly softer texture would have made the overall eating experience more enjoyable. Despite this minor drawback, the quality of the ingredients and the robust flavors make Durum's new offering worth trying. You MUST visit Durum Pasta Company for the finest in homemade pasta, Italian products and cookies etc etc. Unique items of high quality can be found in every corner of the small store. When I casually asked Andrea if MAYBE she had a pumpkin cheesecake hanging around, she said, "sure, right over here in the refrigerator." I gasped because not one local store could come up with a non-palm oil drenched pumpkin cheesecake. Well, this cheesecake was magnificent in appearance and taste.
