I regularly come here with my children, the atmosphere isn't the most inviting but you can definitely have a seat and eat there if you like. I've only ordered pizza, fries, chicken, and a few subs there. The food is good, the chef is a weapon back there! Fast, clean, and the food off the grille is very good! Pizza is a bit too greasy sometimes but hey it's not bad on my stomach. When I order delivery it's quite a different experience. There is a young woman that answers the phone in a prank style?! I have no idea what to call it, literally doesn't even say the name of the business just start yelling at you or screaming hello or simply says, "IT'S PLAH" or something to that effect. Totally unprofessional, makes me have to double check my food etc it's such a shame. When talking to Nick's pizza on the phone you'll sometimes get a bad experience and nobody will try to remedy the situation. I had to call multiple times to reach someone besides the pranker. Although when I finally did someone else apologized and took my order. I'm a father ordering food for my children to eat for dinner bc I'm tired from a long day, no semantics about my kids or their food. It was totally ridiculous. I hope Nick's learns from this bc 90% of the professionals I know would hang up if they called a business and were greeted in such an unprofessional manner, Nick's just happened to be the closest place at the time. There's is one person at the front that does a fantastic job and she is the one who remedied the situation so thank her very much. If it weren't for her I would've been calling...
Read moreMy co-workers and I often run down here grab a quick slice or 2 on our lunch breaks. The last 3 times have been a bad experience. The pizza has been dripping in grease. This last trip we ordered 4 slices. We asked for them to put 2 of the slices in a small box to take w us and we would eat the other 2 while standing. Not only did they not give us a box, they tossed all 4 slices on a plate and tossed them in the bag, layering them all one plate on top of the other. When we opened the bag, all the cheese was melted off and all stuck to either the bag or the plate on top of it. We asked for new slices as these were inedible and the short gentleman behind the counter then acted as if he doesn't speak English and answered the phone to take another customer order instead of taking care of us, the customer in from t of him that had already ordered and paid.
I have received delivery from them in the past at my previous place of employment and never had issues. However, with this recent experience the last several times and for the plain ignorance, none of us will be back. And of course we have extended our reviews to fellow friends. The bad experience will have any business lose more customers than a great experience...
Read moreI am furious right now because i am a manager at a restaurant and I would never treat my guests badly. I ordered from Nicks in Lynn. I ordered a Haddock plate and a chicken wrap for delivery. When my food arrived on time I tipped the driver and proceeded to the kitchen table. When I opened the plate I was very distraught at what I was seeing. I am not one to complain because I know how it is to work in a kitchen but I just could not understand how a business would ever allow such a disgraceful , pitiful display of food to be sold to anyone. There was no fish just hard breader . I called back to let them know what my problem was and the gentleman on the phone refused to give me his name. The manager was not polite and had no regard for any type of hospitality to his potential long lasting customer. I will starve to death before I give this business any more of my money. As a manager I can’t even fathom the idea of not making sure my guests experience is absolutely the best. This place needs a whole new training in Hospitality and...
