Lalis Pizza — Restaurant in Lynwood

Order over the phone to pick up. Order a pepperoni and sausage pizza, wings/ fries. When I get home, I check pizza is only pepperoni. I call immediately and worker says they can give me a refund me being nice suggest better just to get a corrected pizza and I will have someone else pick it up. She says she will ask manager and after speaking with him, she says he says to bring the whole pizza back and they can make a new one correctly. I say that doesn't make sense ( that's the least I want to do.) We order food to pick up and come home to enjoy. Also, the mistake was from them not from me. Plus working in food industry I sure know that, that's Cross contamination and also that most of the time food will be thrown away at least on big corporates. I asked for a refund and they said they will only be giving me the difference on not receiving the sausage which is like $3.50. Things like this upset me because they can easily work with customers and continue having business and respect. Also seeing the fries made me realize they are being stingy, fries do no look like they used to before. It's sad and this is how family businesses start going down. I ordered pick up through Uber, arrived early and was asked to wait. I came back 10 minutes later to find the two employees frantically looking for my order. Instead of owning up to the fact that they ga e my order away, they rushed to throw in a other set of pizzas which did not meet the standard. I set aside the fact that I had to wait, I set aside the fact that the product was not the best quality, but please own up to your mistakes. I would have been more comfortable waiting if the business was transparent about mistakes.
