We had my granddaughters christening catered at Ledos on Dec 8th. We’ve never had an issue before for a party of 20. They placed us in the back room, which was different, normally we sat in the open (main) dining area. Despite no other parties during our visit they closed the room divider which made accessing and maneuvering our tables difficult. Additionally the servers took about 45 mins to bring out 2 pizza, the remaining pizza took longer. They filled in with wet salad. I realize we are in challenging times, however train your staff. Whoever handled the salad tray washed the lettuce but never rinsed the salad. The bottom layer was sitting in water. When complained they wanted to charge us an additional $93, yes $93 for a 2nd tray. You realize bags of iceberg lettuce are roughly $4-7 ea. even for 4 bags doubled that $56. Our tray of cheese sticks didn’t come out until after the pizza was gone as they forgot. They did give us a small tray of salad later. Gee thanks. We paid over $400. Sad to see their service fail like this. Ledo’s has been a staple for family gatherings for over 30 years. Im sure it’s not the case, but at the time it really felt like the owners didn’t care enough to properly staff or train their employees. We will continue to use for pizza. However much better experiences for larger parties elsewhere. It was one of the most embarrassing family gatherings all due to Ledos negligence.

This is a very popular local neighborhood restaurant that has been around for a very long time, and for a very good reason. They have a very extensive menu serving some of the most popular Italian dishes like, pizza, Italian beefs, Italian beef combinations, pastas, sandwiches, hot dogs, large fried shrimp, and a salad bar, just to name a few items, all at very reasonable prices. They also have a few slot machines, just in case you're feeling lucky and a few TVS to watch sports. If you feel like eating outdoors, they have a have you covered with an outside patio as well. The parking lot is conveniently located behind the building and has two main entrances, one on the back of the building and the other on the South side of the building.

I love Ledos! They have awesome Chicago thin crust pizza which is not talked about enough. Their fried mushrooms are delicious. You can get beer by the pitcher or glass. They have games kids can play for quarters (and a change machine). The smallest pizzas, in case you need to order another for your picky kid are very very reasonable. You can add salad bar to your meal for a small charge. 100% would have a birthday party here. You can sit outside. This place has been a neighborhood favorite for a long time. It is not overrated. Go get some pizza! Very kid friendly. They also have some pasta options if that is more your speed.

Went here for a birthday party, and honestly I was not impressed. For a party of about 50 people, only one very overworked employee was assigned to be both the bartender and table busser. Fine, I get it, staffing is difficult these days, pay your employees more, blah blah blah. The service isn't the reason for this review.

The real kick in the teeth was how NOT good the food was. They served 'mostaccioli', and I use quotes because whatever the pasta dish was, was NOT mostaccioli, but rather some terribly bland, basic pasta with hardly any sauce. BARF.

The Italian beef that accompanied the 'mostaccioli' was all spicy and hardly savory. I get that it's hard to compete with Portillos but honestly a frozen canister of Buona beef would have probably been just as good as this beef. The bread however, very good and probably the reason I didn't give less stars.

Finally - the pizza. So if you're gonna name a restaurant 's Pizza, one would generally expect the pizza to be gangbusters. Not the case here however. The pizza was incredibly greasy, like school cafeteria greasy, blot-it-with-a-bunch-of-napkins before eating it greasy. It also wasn't even particularly tasty. I've had better thin crust pizza from pizza chain restaurants. The sauce was underwhelming, the crust was neither crispy or savory. Obviously, for marketing reasons, Leto's Overly Greasy and Vaguely Pizza is a terrible name for a restaurant, but certainly an accurate description of the pizza that was served.

If you have the option to dine here, you're better off going to LouMal's or Giordano's. Give Leto's a pass unless you're a stockholder in...

ZERO STARS Ledos has always been a place our family has gone to for over 30 years. Last night will be the LAST. YOUR pizza IS NOW TERRIBLE. We will never go back. WE thought last time when it was bad it was just a one time thing. NOT THE CASE it was even WORSE this time. THE DOUGH was tough and tasted flat and like glue. Your sauce tasted terrible too, and it seems like you SKIMP on QUALITY. JUST AN OVERALL POOR POOR PIZZA. My frozen Jacks pizza is actually a BETTER choice. SO VERY SAD.. GREED and "improvements" will ruin you. EVERYONE would rather pay a few extra bucks for quality. REALLY REALLY disappointing. AND your girl with puss at the register is another reason not to come in. Of the 5 people she "HELPED " she not once said thankyou to them. WHAT A MISERABLE unwelcoming face. Our family will take all the parties to a new place,. Maybe you can ask the bartender, who is SUPER nice and says THANKYOU to teach your staff how do do it. OR MAYBE she can get her hands on your OLD RECIPE and show you what SERVICE and MANNERS MEAN to your business.. This will be the first year in the last 10 that I WILL NOT BE buying gift cards for Christmas from LEDOS. I can get cardboard cheaper at the office supply store if I want a pizza that tastes like yours does . TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SHAME on you for RUINING...
