Matai Restaurant — Restaurant in Maʻopūtasi County

If you're into a culinary experience with great food, this is not the place for you. This is an Asian restaurant trying to replicate American food. The servers and waitresses aren't well trained, and the place just smells literally like cat poop.

😆 🤣 😂 They called the police on me because, I returned a plate which was wrongfully ordered by the waitress and later admit to it. It was the worst experience I ever had.

By contexts: I ordered a steak, and it's how I based my overall review on any restaurant and failed. The steak was a quarter inch, tasteless and expensive.

I wish them nothing but the best, but damn. They wouldn't take my feedback...

This place has been around for several years and am sad I didn’t come sooner.

Love the location in the Tedi o Sāmoa building, with views of Pago Harbor. Loved that their AC was on as it’s been sooo hot 🥵.

If you are looking for great food on the island. This is where you want to be. The LOCO MOCO is the best around believe me iv tried them all! Hand made patty with eggs cooked to perfection. Service was outstanding...
