Oliver's Pizza — Restaurant in Macomb Township

It is unfortunate in today's day and age that a business can operate this way, if I owned the business I sure would like to know. So, hopefully this informs them.

Ordered the pizza online, estimated delivery was 6:54. At 7:15 I simply called to make sure they had my order, the lady was polite and assured me it was on the way, no problem. At 7:25 the pizza showed up, 30 min late. That's not the issue.

Pizza was cold, cold as in I actually microwaved it to warm it up. I called, to simply inform them that the $30 pizza I ordered was cold, was not asking for another pizza. Asked to speak to the manager, and was transferred. Instead of apologizing, and being sympathetic, he told me it was impossible that the pizza was cold. Ok, well, it was cold. He said well the driver must have got lost then. Ok, again I didn't do anything expect order pizza with the expectation of it being warm and fresh.

I would avoid this establishment as late pizza with poor customer service is...

HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE? Omg this pizza is freaking amazing. We got a flyer about their new jalapeno popper pizza so we thought we'd give it a try. We got that and the grilled chicken pizza. Both were excellent. The employee we ordered over the phone with and the delivery guy were very polite. Food arrived earlier then expected. With all the pizza places around here it's hard to know what to go, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!! I'd been getting domino's because of the price and they're pretty good but no comparison. Best pizza around by far. Love the sauce, the crust, and the toppings. Staff is very nice, and the fire is great. They constantly have different deals, including free cinnamon bread on Mondays. They had the best gluten free pizza in the area, but they took it off the menu. Spoke with the owner, he said they intend on bringing it back, but can't yet. I check their website frequently because their pizza is great, but with a wife with a gluten allergy, I'm not gonna tease her but just ordering a pizza for me. Bring back gluten free so I can convince my wife to order...
