Waffle House — Restaurant in Macon

My husband and I went to waffle house on 5/4/16.....the waitress was in one of the  booths with head on table sleeping. The cook, a tall black guy named Chuck tried several times to wake her, she would not get up....more customers came in, a lady, a guy, and no matter how much the cook tried to get her to wake up and help him, she refused...the cook had to take our orders...ALL of our orders, AND cook the food....all the while steadily trying to get this girl to wake up and come help him.....she still would not get up and help him....now this is a restaurant,  not a hotel. Is Waffle House paying it's employees to sleep while on the clock or to take care of customers.... it was a disgrace that the cook had to take our orders, cook the food, and serve the food...when we asked for our drinks...2 teas...she finally got up to help...it STILL took forever to get our drinks...the waitress name was Jasmine....Chuck asked her to please get our drinks...2 sweet teas...Jasmine had attitude and  stated " I got to sweetened the tea. I'm getting it!!".... This was ridiculous....this girl didn't go to the bathroom to wash her face or hands or anything...she just jumped up and tried to start serving customers...now my husband and I come to this waffle house alot, it's not far from our home....but for this type of behavior to be exhibited by employees is very unacceptable.....I am sure the owners nor the managers pay their employees to sleep. Also while sweetening the tea, (my husband informed her it was barely sweet),he watched this young lady after she added more sugar to the tea, get a small glass sample it and POUR THE SAMPLED TEA BACK IN THE TEA URN!!!!! HOW UNSANITARY IS THAT!!! She asked my husband did he want a refill to which he promptly said no. I can not believe all I witnessed this morning at this Waffle House. If I had not witnessed these altercations with my own eyes I would not have believed this. Jasmine does not deserve nor need to be working at your establishment. She does not appear to have any integrity where her job or her actions on her job are concerned. Jasmine exhibited poor and unsanitary employee behavior on this morning,not washing her hands and pouring tea she had drank from back in the tea urn.... not only witnessed by myself and my husband, but 2 other sets of patrons as well.... I can not begin to express the deep concern and disappointment I felt during our time at your establishment. Chuck went above and beyond to cover up for Jasmine's shortcomings, and in turn HE,was rewarded with not only our tip, but I know for a fact the other lady in the restaurant tip as well.... And he rightly deserved them. I am disturbed to think Waffle House condones this type of behavior. There is a camera monitoring the inside, but obviously Jasmine did not care because she still saw fit to get in a booth, put her head on the table, and go to sleep. Now if this young lady was on break, no one could tell, especially since Chuck start calling her to help him as soon as we came in the doors, to which she promptly ignored him. This young man steadily tried to get Jasmine to wake up and help him to no avail. He never once raised his voice at her, never got an attitude with her, nor did he bad mouth her to any of the customers. He remained courteous,  took our orders (everyone's ) and cooked our food, which was also served BY HIM in a timely manner. Jasmine should take lessons and cues from this gentleman on customer service.... Deeply Disappointed, Mr &Mrs...

Well,we ordered our food,3 at our table,i got steak,medium,2 eggs,reg hashbrowns. My buddy ordered 3 eggs,onions in his hashbrowns, sausage.Anyways,we started getting food one item at a time! My steak came out crispy,sent it back,my buddy got my platter,i finally get my steak,his platter,what im saying is,go somewhere else! Not a good Waffle house! A/C blowing wide open ,food got cold quick!!49...

Only due to the fact I was starving due to just reaching Macon Ga, from the long trip from Florida I did eat the food and it wasn't the best, the sercives was great, my eggs wasn't cook scrambled soft the cook tried his best to cook them over, forgot my meal came with a walffle by the time I was almost finihed my walffle as brought out, had sasuage gravy for my hash browns the gravy...
