If i could give my rating for this location below a 1 star rating I would. I went today through drive thru - I purchased a zax snack. I arrived home to eat it and 2 my dismay my toast was stale (hard and old) the fries were stale, cold and under cooked. I drove back to the store (my valuable time and gas wasted), the Mgr and Assistant Mgr asked the following to me after I clearly told them why i was returning my food back (this made me even more up look at the food and asked while looking at it what was wrong (SMH). I will never return. I obtained my refund. The Mgr /Assistant Mgr both came across not really making thing right with acknowledging my time I put in having 2 return - they wanted to give me two zax snacks - I refused their offer. Poor mgmt didn't seem to care and carried a poor disposition which made me more angry.
Update and my response to the owner: As of today, I have submitted my response (recommendation) as you instructed me to. And here's what I posted: The assistant manager and manager at this location should have displayed more understanding and compassion toward me having to use my gas to return back to the restaurant for my issue and I should have been offered a gift card for future visit at any of the location - in turn, I was treated the opposite by them. I should have also been made to feel that my experience was one that will be addressed,etc. I was not made to feel this and this is my reasoning behind my google review. Originally I gave them 5 stars, however they have changed and I must say, not for the better. For a while now there have been great inconsistencies such as the amount of food given, as in very little chicken on your salad and at times very little lettuce, also the chicken many times has been dry, hard, (warmed in the warmer) cold and/or dry fries, items left out such as bacon on a sandwich, sauces (paid for) that weren't put in the bag, the list goes on, so needless to say I'm dissapointed in Zaxby's which once was one of my favorite places and is very convenient to my home. The workers are always courteous but need better supervision or training obviously. Zaxby's is supposed to not be like your average "fast food" resturaunt, when it first opened they let you know that it would take longer than your average "fast food" place so that your food could be cooked fresh but now it seems they are no longer following that standard and are more concerned about getting it out fast (quanity of sales) rather than the Quality of the food unfortunately.    Read moreGot there after lunch and there were no clean tables. Trash on the floor in front of the counter. The cashier may have been new, she had to take out her phone to calculate my change. Maybe she was distracted by the music on her ear bud. The two cooks that I could see in the kitchen had dreads, I know that because there were no hats or hair restraints to be seen. The drive thru cashier resting her head on the counter did not have a hat ( she did have several decorative headbands that matched her yellow Crocs )
Out meal was tasty, the food was hot and freshly prepared. My wife had the club sandwich.and said that it was "okay". Son had the chicken finger meal and said it was delicious.
After eating, went back for some cookies. ( drive thru cashier still resting head on counter. ) everyone had their backs to me so I waited a couple of minutes. When the cashier got off her phone to take my order she told me the total $2.15. I handed her 2 one dollar bills and a quarter.
