Starbucks — Restaurant in Madera

I just want to say thank you so much to the staff at this Starbucks location. I had received word yesterday morning that my aunt who lives there in town passed away and knowing that the family would all be getting together I wanted to see if I could have coffee provided for their gathering. I come from a large family I knew there would have to be a good amount of coffee so I called this location due to it being closest to my family’s home. I had the pleasure of talking to Mel and asked about the different options that were available to have the coffee catered. She was very knowledgeable of their products, and what would best meet the need. I had called about noon PST being that I live on the East Coast and had asked that it be ready by 3/4pm for pick up to which she stated they usually have to have 24 hour notice but when I had shared that it was going to be for a family gathering after the passing of my aunt they made it their priority to make sure they had it ready to go when a family member was able to pick it up. Upon arrival of my family member, they helped her load it into the vehicle and made sure that she was taken care of. In this day and age it’s so hard to find people who care enough to help in a strangers time of need but the amazing staff at this location definitely made a difference in being so attentive to my family. It may be just coffee to anybody else, but to me, growing up in a household where memories were cherished and shared over coffee and desserts, and being able to reminisce about good memories means the world to me and my family. The inside is always clean and the staff are warm and welcoming. They try to make sure you enjoy your drink and if you don't they'll make it better. Seasonal drinks are amazing but they still take the time to make one of their regular drinks just as good as the specialty beverage. Edit: It's just as good as it was the last time I made a review. Starbucks needs to get there shot together! Customer service sucks, drive thru wait times are ridiculous! And somehow they always seem to get your order incorrect. They have a hard time understanding orders or instructions I would much rather take the extra 30 minute drive and go to the other Starbucks in Fresno.
