Subway — Restaurant in Madera

It was the Subway on Madera Avenue and Avenue 13, Madera, Ca. It was the worst Subway I have ever been to. Their lettice was wilted and brown and they said they had no more. Needless to say,I passed on that. This was at 1:30 p.m. They asked if I wanted the sandwich toasted. Sure. Why not? I ordered the daily 6-inch special for $3.99. Originally, they charged me $5.49 and when I questioned it they lowered it to $4.35. When I asked them why, they said they had to charge tax because I had the sandwich toasted. I asked when they listed that additional charge. They had no answer. We have a saturation of Subway shops in Madera (6 within 6.5 miles). I will certainly go elsewhere...

Worker was rude to my mom, and my mom has gone here multiple times, and they’ve given her the same attitude. My mom said she won’t be coming here anymore and the worker laughed and told her boss and the boss laughed it off. Don’t go here, they are unprofessional and only give good attitude towards men. Hmmmm I wonder why. Go to the Howard ST subway, because this one has terrible workers. I hope Subway can find better respectful workers and a boss that can respectfully run the place. I'd give it no stars if it was a option I told the girl light toasted not to cut my sandwich with a dirty knife that's been used with food from other people sandwich she still burnt my bread charges extra to toast bread and still cuts my sandwich leaving other ingredients from the other customers sandwich on my sandwich not everyone like everything from subway they should clean the knives after each sandwich is made I would prefer subway on Howard way more better service and uses clean knives after different...
