Tacos Guanajuato — Restaurant in Madera

Let me tell you, if you’re looking for local, quick, perfect Mexican food, you should absolutely try this place. The staff are super nice, and are always super understanding when I adapt things on the menu a bit. On its worst day the food is still better than most of the Mexican food I’ve had, on a great day it’s literally unmatched. The tacos, burritos, alambre, nachos, machete, torta, literally everything is amazing.All of their salsas slap (guacamole, habanero, red and green.) When I say it’s insanely good I’m not kidding, multiple of my friends from out of town ALWAYS want to hit this place up when they visit, it’s literally so damn good.

Pro tip: get the Al Pastor tacos on the homemade tortillas with everything (make sure to ask for pineapple and guacamole too)

It's was okay to eat, I enjoyed it better when the previous owners manage it. Let me start with positive the meat was good, the horchata was on point and the hand made tortillas I enjoyed allot. However the negative the Mexican rice didn't have any flavor, it might as well be white rice. The beans wear bland and the lettuce taste like it was in the freezer for way to long. The dine in experience was half hearted you can eat inside but with the styrofoam container. I might as well order...

Came here for the menudo, so yummy! They make the red kind, you can order it with corn or without and also with or without "pata" which is delicious! My husband really liked the torta de asada.

Service was good, the lady answered my question quick and to the point. Wait time wasn't bad either. I believe you can even order ahead.

It's in the same building as the gas station store but has its own side with a few tables.
