I absolutely love Cousin's, and I find it a shame that many of them have closed. But my experience here wasn't the best. For starters, their parking lot is so old and faded that any reasonable person wouldn't know which space is reserved for disabled persons. Furthermore, there's no sign in front of the reserved spot either (which doesn't abide by Wisconsin statutes). Secondly, every door that I went through had a door closer that was obscenely strong. These are adjustable, and this should be considered. Those in wheelchairs, the elderly, or just young/small people really have difficulty when doors require that much effort to open. Upon receiving assistance through the door by an extremely friendly employee, I proceeded to the restroom. Now, I'm quite thin, and my wheelchair is fairly narrow, but I BARELY fit into the stall. I had to move my foot strap and slide my feet back so that they didn't stick out past the front of my footrest, then precisely back in whole turning myself sideways to enable the door to close so that I would have the necessary privacy. Beyond that, the employees were friendly, fast, and the one I saw going into the bathroom was washing up. Like I said, I tally love their food, and the service was great, but it was a pain to eat here. I hope to be able to revise this...
Read moreIn the words of George Takei, "Ohhh My!" Hmmm Without writing a book. Lets just say I was impressed. First the cashier was great! I walked over to the pick up area and the man making my sandwich took up an appropriate conversation. I was delighted! The smells and the good mannered employees made for a great "standing around, when is my flippin food gonna be done??" experience. Well it was done so quick that I was very impressed. Faster than it took that "BK" to even take my order. (See my "Rude BK experience" in another review).
This guy was so cool. he had a great smile and felt like he was genuine. so I am writing this coming off a disappointing B.K. experience but riding a delicious Cousins subs food coma!! :)
Yes, its just a sub sandwich place, but I will consider them FIRST from now on before those other two horror houses.
Keep up the good work...
Read moreI asked for a minute to look at the menu which nobody had a problem with. I asked if they had dr. Pepper which they said only on the inside fountain. I said okay can I just put my order in thru the drive thru and come back in to get the soda. Which they Said you can order inside. So once they told me it's gonna be that way I decided to come inside. The men greeted us pleasantly. But the two woman that were in the back chose to talk about how our interaction just went in the drive thru in the most unprofessional way. It was loud enough for the folks in the dinning room to hear. And mind you they just told me to come in there to order so I wasn't gone. I definitely wasn't polite back but I don't have a reaction unless there's foulness first. Kinda sad how they just put all this money into renovation into the building but have some of the most...
