Meriano's Bake Shoppe — Restaurant in Madison

recently purchased an assortment of cannoli, while the shells were exceptional, the filling was 2 times too sweet. Can’t put my finger on it but the filling had an over sweet custard texture. Not like the cannoli we enjoyed on our recent trip to Italy. Italian cannoli have a light ricotta filling with just a hint of sugar.

Best bakery in Madison and surrounding areas in my opinion. The cannoli’s, cakes, cupcakes and Italian pastries are amazing. And just ordered two stuffed breads which are the best in Madison... they felt like they weighed over 5 pounds... stuffed with meat, vegetables and just the right amount of cheese... delicious! The chicken parmesan stuffed bread was the best I have had. Do yourself a favor and order...

Their truck was outside of the building I was exiting and I decided on a whim to get a couple of cannolis and a Pignoli cookie - large, freshly made shells, filled while you wait - Nice and crisp, no sogginess! The pignoli cookie was great as well… We will definitely stop into the bakery in Madison soon. Friendly staff... I’m a New Haven girl & this is as good if not better than Lucibello‘s...
