Joe's Italian Restaurant & Pizza — Restaurant in Madisonville

Atmosphere: Be careful not to miss it because you will be sorry if you did. It is in a strip center off the main road, but be sure to stop by. The outside looks simple, but once you step in it it is a different ambiance. You are greeted by the special of the day on a sign, as well as various hosts. When you turn into the dining area, you can see it is large with two separated areas with plenty of seating and Italian music playing on the speakers sets the tone for the meal.

Service: Service was amazing from the moment we entered, we were greated by one of the hosts taking a phone call order and then turning to the dining area, we were then greeted by a hostess that took us to our seating area. When asked for recommendations, she gave us an abundance of them with also taking into consideration of what we liked. Upon selecting our entrees, we were given our drinks promptly and she would constantly check up us soon after. After receiving our meal, she would refill our drinks prior to even us asking for her to refill them and would replenish our complimentary bread to the point we had to stop because we would not have been able to finish our meal.

Quality: The quality of the food was really great and the portion size was surprisingly amazing for the amount paid. I tried the special of the day that day, in which the hostess said that would be full of flavor. After receiving the meal, you could tell that it would be flavor with the combination of the sauce,pasta and vegetables. The meal was full of flavor with the combination of sauce and lobster, in which the complimentary bread shined in absorbing all of it's goodness.

Recommendation: If you are looking for great Italian food and service, look no further and be sure to make a stop. Next time we go out of town and make our way back home, this will definitely be a place we look forward...

This was my favorite place to eat, but not now. Let me start by saying I ordered a lunch to go. And I ordered a salad with house dressing .I did not get my salad dressing or silverware. I called to let them know that I did not get the dressing or silverware. I was trying to help them out thinking they may have had a new person working instead I was told I said I didn’t want any salad dressing for my salad and if I wanted silverware, I should have asked. I said again I asked for House dress when I made the order second of all, I was not aware that I had to ask for silverware and napkins when I was taking a to go order at lunchtime I told him not to worry I was not mad I just wanted to let him know, just in case he had a new employee but no worries I won’t go back there. I sadly must rescind the good review from years ago. When the brothers ran this restaurant it was fantastic. Ever since the Cousin took over it is horrible. I have refrained from commenting until my ridiculously bad experience today. I ordered through doordash and EVERYTHING about my order was wrong. The calamari was inedible, even by my dogs standards and the pizza was incorrect. When i contacted the store I was told to reorder and PAY AGAIN! The owner is gone until next week and they are not authorized to refund my money or even FIX THE ORDER!!!!!!! Unacceptable! Doordash made it right but Joe’s is officially boycotted! I say Bring the Brothers Back! Cousin, go home or to a customer service class, STAT!
