My husband and I visit this place often, we live about ½ mile from it. We had family in town from Tampa and they wanted to go up there, it was a pretty day. As, our party of 8 get settled in and go to the bar to get drinks, well that's where my husband got treated like crap. I ordered a vodka tall and my husband ordered a bucket of miller lite but the bartender misheard , so she said that she will get him a bucket, no big deal. The manager, I'm assuming, was standing there and said, looks like someone had pre-gamed, well he did when we went somewhere else for crawfish. He 100 % wasn't acting out of hand nor have we caused any problems. NONE!!! The manager, Josh, said that he could only have 1 beer and leave. My husband was extremely mad because he didn't know that pregaming wasn't allowed, HAHA...some choice words were said between each other, so we did the adult thing and left. I think I was shocked because how Josh treated us and was very rude and that wasn't the only time he's been rude and cocky with his customers. On top of this issue, they charged our CC for drinks that weren't even touched and tipped themselves. It sucks because we've always had a good time going and my grandson LOVES going there with Us. We've spent some good money up there, but not anymore, WE'RE NOT GOING BACK to our once go to place. It was our only place...

There's a corn hole area that my 3yr old daughter was running around. And one of the bar guys was talking to her rudely telling her to keep clear of that area. I came to get her and he yelled to me "Get her out of here!! I've already told her multiple times!!" I was stunned how he was talking to me and just said ok. Told my husband and he went to that guy to talk to him. Look.... if you don't want kids running around this area... then don't have a "kid friendly" establishment!! Period!! You're a grown man talking to a child like she knows to take direction from you!! Crazy Train... lose that guy! He clearly has no manners for the "kid friendly" establishment yall run!! And if he's an owner or whatever.... that's even worse!! He tried to come and apologize to me after. But the way i see it is... had it not been for my husband to go talk to him about this.... he would've never offered me an apology!! First and LAST time...
Read moreHaven’t tried the bar area yet, but I saw they recently added a Mexican Food Truck!!! I was super interested after seeing that the food truck offered a burger Uruapan style. If you’ve ever been to Mexico you know they do burgers with a different touch and La Casa De Las Carnitas did NOT disappoint. I also got the Papas Locas with the carne asada. They give you a hefty portion and the refried beans were a nice addition!!! They weren’t listed under the description so I was surprised, but the beans definitely balanced out the dish. There is also many different salsas to choose from. My personal favorites were the Chile de árbol and Salsa macha. I do have to warn y’all that the salsa macha is their spiciest one so if that isn’t your jam avoid it. The árbol sauce can be spicy, but there are creamy inclusions which helps counter the heat. The owners are super friendly and service was pretty quick. I will definitely return to try their...
