First, I hate leaving bad reviews but this owner needs to see this for his businesses sake. I have been to this restaurant multiple times, giving it chance after chance. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Things from having the owner yell at the whole restaurant to get out, to pickled flavored chocolate cake, back to the owner rolling his eyes at customers complaining about the food, to the cashier ladies being extremely rude to people ordering. Every employee here has zero customer service skills it’s shocking even for country living. Reading other low rating reviews of this place, the owner replies so passive aggressively, how is this a business? I would never recommend this place even to my worst enemy and really hope the owners see this because they need a wake up call. Prices are high, food is average but that is usually overlooked by good service, therefore this place is a 0/10! Family owned places tend to have a higher understanding of good service but this place does not understand that one bit. This review has been stewing for months but after seeing this owners filthy attitude as a business owner for almost a year now, I had to post it. Unless they decide to change their business morals, go at your own risk.
I will say, this could be a great place if the owner starts with the change. Maybe go on vacation and get someone else to reply to these very public reviews your commenting on. In all honesty I do wish you well but a lot of work needs to be done before this becomes a great place again. Forget recipes and prices, start with yourself first, owner. Good luck. FYI Sweet potatoes fries are amazing though, hands down best I’ve...
Read moreMy mother & I went here for the first time tonight (6/10/17) and we're very happy that we did!
The moment we walked in, we were happily greeted by the extremely friendly staff and the aroma of delicious burgers being grilled in the kitchen. We arrived at 7:30PM and, regardless of the abundant signage stating their hours of operation, we didn't realize that they closed at 8PM. Before placing our order we mentioned this to the staff who quickly assured us that it was no problem and they were happy to still serve us.
My mother ordered the Original Super Burger, Homemade Onion Rings and an old fashioned hand spun Vanilla Malt while I ordered a Double Cheese Burger, Homemade Zucchini and a fountain drink. The burgers were great and by far the best burgers we've had at a local establishment in a very long time. The sides were both very good and neither were super greasy like most other places we've ordered them. My mother LOVED the old fashioned hand spun malt and said that's how she has always liked them to be made. "It tasted very good. It was really thick and you could really taste the malt flavor."
While outside seating was available (there is a very nice covered deck with picnic tables) we opted to sit inside with the cold A/C. The atmosphere is very laid back with great 50's music playing and an all around nostalgic vibe. The dining area was extremely well kept & clean and offered both table/chair seating as well as booths.
Needless to say, it was a great experience overall and we're already planning our next visit to Super Burger. We definitely give Magnolia Super Burger 5...
Read moreWe found out about Supeer Burgers of Magnolia in a publication discussing the Construction in the area hurting small businesses along 1488. It said the burgers were really good and so we decided to hop on the motorcycles and ride out for some grub. We were greeted warmly and quickly inside. We read about the burgers so we already knew we had to try one so we could rate it with others. So a cheeseburger with fries were automatic. She mentioned a Cheesesteak sandwice in a spicy or regular and well, I had to try that too since a good spicy cheesesteak is rare in the greater Houston area these days. We also order fresh sliced jalepenos on my burger, Kelly went straigh minus pickles on hers. She also got half onion rings and half fried zuchini too. So we could try it all out. It was all really good and very worth the trip. I love the fresh ingredients. The onion rings were about perfect. The burgers and cheesesteak were good and messy just as the should be! No beer (yet) but they do have ice cream if you have any room left after your meal. The menu includes some intriguing propsects I might try next time. See phot of the menus. The owners came out a chatted with us. They're very friendly and very involved in area events. If you're in the area and feel like a good burger you owe it to yourself to stop in. I should mention that the road construction in the area is hurting many small businesses along FM1488, they all could use our help to weather the challenge. It's...
