CONTINUATION FROM PREVIOUS REVIEW... After telling the second man the same thing that I told the first man... Well, he gave me the same lame excuse about the chips soaking up cheese... I, then, explained to him that I had my chips put on the side... And, he still repeated the same lame excuse about the chips soaking up the cheese... I told him that I just told you that my chips were on the side... Then, his second lame excuse was that the chicken soaked up the cheese... Lol, where are these people getting these lame excuses??? Who has ever heard of chicken soaking up cheese??? Then, I told him that I had pictures to prove everything... So, he said if I bring the pictures to prove this that he would give me a small queso... I then told him that I didn't know when I could get a ride to come up there because I didn't have a car, so I asked him if he wanted to get my name... Instead of saying yes, he was still on the defense about everything, and he asked why did I wait so long to call in... Then, he said it has been over 24 hours... First off, I told him that I made the order around 5:55 on Saturday night and the time that we were having that conversation was around 3 pm, so I told him it had not even been 24 hours yet, which he would have known if he wasn't trying to get out of taking responsibility for their mistake... Instead of listening and just taking my name down which I asked him more than once to do, he was constantly trying to put the blame on me... So, the last senseless remark he made was that it is common sense to look at an order when you first receive it... That was over the top to me... So, I just said, Common sense??? And then, I told him bye and hung up... Throughout the whole conversation, I didn't get smart, I didn't yell nor raise my voice, nor was I ugly in any way... I remained very calm, even after the final insulting remark... So, it is official that I will not be spending my money here... Now, I do not know if the second man whom I was speaking to was the owner or not... But whomever you are, how about you all making it a common sense practice to double and triple check orders before sending them out, so you all can ensure that there are no mistakes made with a customer's order, since you obviously do not want to take any responsibility for your mistakes and want to make lame excuses, insulting remarks, and put all the blame on the customer... If it were not for the respect that I have for your family member who wanted me to support your restaurant, I would give you 1 star... The only thing there that stands out is the queso... The queso here is one of the best, if not the best in Magnolia... The rest of the food is mediocre at best, including the tortilla chips... No responsibility is taken when an order is messed up nor is their any appreciation nor gratitude expressed... And, even though the second man I spoke with offered to give me a small queso, each time I asked if he wanted to take down my name, he would make more insulting remarks and try to put the blame on me instead of just taking down my name or instead of just telling me to come in whenever I could... At this point, I I do not eat want the stupid queso because of how I was talked to and constantly insulted... Sir, whomever you are, you need to learn how to properly resolve issues and make things right with a customer, because what you call trying to make things rights is done in a very lame and insulting manner... Moreover, you also need to rethink what you offer to do to make things rights... A small queso is not enough for someone to make a special trip up there to get... The trip there and bad would cost more than a small queso... And, a person's time is worth more than a small queso... A better solution would be to remake the whole nacho... But, either way, in this case, it doesn't matter, because I am not even bothered with coming up there nor with spending my hard earned money there after how I was treated... Please do not insult anyone else's intelligence with such lame excuses and insulting remarks... Very sad...
Read moreI just ordered some food here recently, because a family member of the owner of the restaurant wanted me to support the restaurant of their family member... However, my experience was subpar to say the least... On Saturday evening around 5:55 pm, I ordered fajita chicken nachos with the chips on the side, because I do not like my chips to get soggy... I also ordered a side of refried beans and a large queso... And, the lady who took the order repeated the order back to me, so there is no excuse for anything being messed up because what she repeated back to me was correct... Well, the person whom I had to pick my order up for me delivered my food to me about an hour later... Now, when I received the food, I just put it in the refrigerator without looking at it and ended up going to sleep... Well, I woke up around midnight and worked on a project... Then, at almost 3 am Sunday morning, I decided that I wanted to eat some of the nachos... But, when I opened the container, there was not any cheese on the nachoes... Now, if I had not ordered the large queso, I would have been out of luck... Now, later that day on Sunday around 3:40 pm, I called the restaurant to report that the cheese was left off my nachos... Instead of apologizing, the man who answered the phone immediately started making lame excuses... He said that the cheese soaks into the chips and you can't see the cheese after it soaks into the chips... First off, again, I had my chips put on the side separate from the nachos, so this lame excuse didn't apply to my situation to begin with... Second, even if hypothetically my nachos were fixed in a normal way with chips on the bottom, all the cheese is not going to completely soak into the chips... There will still be plenty of evidence of cheese throughout the container... The dumb stuff people say to insult your intelligence is unreal... But, it didn't stop there... The guy that initially answered the call and gave the lame excuse that was an insult to my intelligence ended up putting me on hold, and another man came to the phone... CONTINUED ON SECOND REVIEW THAT I AM LEAVING RIGHT AFTER THIS ONE BECAUSE GOOGLE WOULD NOT ALLOW EVERYTHING I HAD TO SAY ON...

I like to start with the Santiago dip which is their cheese dip with chorizo and pico de Gallo. Could be a meal in itself. The chips are good and fresh and the salsa is very good.
I usually get the Chile Colorado or anything with birria and it's always delicious. Kids really like the nachos or the hamburger!
Service is very attentive and always making sure you have refills or more chips. Plenty of space for large groups.
I hear they have karaoke on Thursday nights so that would be a good time!
