Papa's Pizza To Go — Restaurant in Maiden

We have been ordering from Papas Pizza for years. Food is great, however the service lately has been terrible. The last few times we have ordered delivery, it has taken much longer than we were told. Today I called pizza in at 6:30 was told 35-45 minutes. At 7:30 I was called by Papas and told they no longer deliver to our address. I explained that we just had pizza delivered a week ago, and there wasn’t an issue. She told me there was nothing she could do but I could speak to a manager - after holding for manager for 6 minutes I was hung up on. Called right back and asked for manager and she said she was the manager. Explained to her the situation and that I understand if they changed their boundaries but did not understand why I wasn’t told when I called it. She explained that she asked her delivery driver if they would take the pizza and he said no bc it was 6 miles and they deliver to 5. She told me she could ask her other driver - and while I was on the phone the other driver said yes. I asked how long and she explained 30-35 minutes bc he had another pizza to deliver before ours and then the manager hung up on me. 45 minutes later called back to find out how much longer and she said 30-40 minutes bc the driver that was going to deliver went home early, which made ZERO sense because she had told me before she had 2 drivers and 1 of them said no. She had no intention of getting our pizza to us and was extremely rude. I am never one to complain but management here has become...

We have moved to Maiden. We wanted to give this place a chance. The first time we call it took well over an hour and a half to receive our pizza. Then we decided to recently try it again cause we understand business can be busy. Well we call and I was able to place our order. Well the gentlemen doesn’t give us a time frame just a “we will get it to you when we do”. I was shocked. My husband ended up calling them back and all he could hear was “papa pizza to go please hold and instantly was placed on hold. So he hung up and called again and the guy said papa pizza and then proceeded to place him on hold. So my husband called again for the third time when they answered my husband said “sir” then was instantly placed on hold. We are need up getting our pizza after waiting over an hour and a half again plus it was cold/ I understand that businesses get busy but that is no way to conduct business and it was very unprofessional in my book. We usually don't have an issue with there food here except for them not cooking our pizza the way we ask them to. well this time it was worse then before the food was cold and the pizza was horribly under cooked. i asked for extra cheese on both the cheese sticks and pizza and also extra parmesan cheese topping on the cheese sticks. and there was non at all as far as the parmesan topping goes and no extra cheese as instructed and paid for. It tasted like they started to put cinnamon on the cheese sticks to make cinastix and realized what they did and instead of remaking the bread they just threw cheese on top and hoped we wouldn't taste it we usually only eat here.. for pizza a couple times to at least once a week now we are seriously rethinking our decision to eat here. the only thing that could possibly restore our faith in this particular papas pizza is if we get a refund.
