AJ's Taqueria & Grill — Restaurant in Maine Township

AJ's Taqueria is an amazing authentic Mexican restaurant that just opened up. The food was spot on with a lot of taco places that I to travel to Des Plaines for. I for one being a Park Ridge resident will do my best to support this local business and many others. The other great part about AJ's taqueria is that they still serve Ice cream because Frosty Penguin was the business before. I didn't try the ice cream, but I will be back soon for some. Everything was clean which is personally important to me. She was a waitress at Lola's (I believe) and now is in business in Park Ridge which is great to see and hear. Ordered a burrito bowl with extra steak and a jarritos for $20. Some of the steak was very fatty with and had pieces I had to take out of my mouth and put to the side. I also didn't like that they mixed it all up for me because it kinda looked like a bunch of schlop when they opened the box. Me and my boyfriend were in the area due to a doctor's appt and looking for a place to eat and wanted tacos. I saw the 5 stars and said that's where we're going.
