Goldy's Grill — Restaurant in Maine Township

I wish there was a no star button because giving this place one star is still to much. I had previously went their to eat with some friends and upon finishing our food the owner kicked us out of our table just so she could sit another party who was waiting. Today was the last straw I went in to get some breakfast alone and noticed all the that was available where dinning stools and a table for four, being that I'm 8.5 months pregnant a bar stool would be very uncomfortable so I decided to sit at the table for four. The owner which was my waitress mumbles under her breath this stable is for more people. As customers began to come she says to me can you move to the back table which was another table for four, I politely got up and expressed how unprofessional she was, her customer service was horrible and only was interested in getting more money from the family of three that walked in. I believe that my money is as good as any and being comfortable when I eat is important. It's sad that the owner of this establishment would treat a customer like this especially one that's 8.5 months pregnant. The owner never apologized she just waved me off without a care and went on sitting the family at the table. My family and I will never eat their again especially after the way she treated me she is more interested in money then...

My Uncle took me here a few times some years back. We had breakfast and it was fantastic! Great Eggs, Bacon, Hash Browns and fresh phenomenal Coffee!!!!! I brought my Mom here today for Mother's Day. It was very busy but, we were greeted with smiles and seated promptly. The waitress and waiter were very attentive and friendly took our order and gave us the most delicious Coffee! This is a small Cafe like restaurant with a small town feel in Park Ridge, Illinois. They have a big counter with stools and booths for more people. Goldy the Owner was giving Champagne and Orange Juice to Mothers for Mothers Day and she makes sure to say hello to everyone that is there. After many years of being away, the food is still top notch!!! Omelets, Biscuits and Gravy, Eggs are STILL fantastic! The Cream of Chicken soup was absolutely perfect and the service Goldy provided was 5 stars! I would come here for Breakfast and/or Lunch any time over any other restaurant.... not just because of the food, but also because of the service that I and every customer receives when they enter! If you're in the area or new to the area please, come to Goldy's... you will not regret your decision!!!!! Lastly, Goldy's does not accept Credit Cards-Cash Only! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, the staff here are fantastic. Upon entering we were greeted with a warm good morning from the cooks and the waitresses, even though they were slammed. We took spots at the counter so we could watch the cooks work their magic. Those two were so much fun to watch while we ate. They’re very skilled and put out delicious food. Everything they made looked amazing, from the omelettes to the salads. We ordered a corned beef hash and two eggs with ham and hash browns. Everything was fantastic. We can’t wait to go...
