I can’t say enough about the awesome atmosphere at The Chat and Chew. We ended up at the Chat and Chew because of the clever namesake and because we were retrieving our dad’s van from the chevron. Even my brothers were raving about the chat and chew environment. You can do all of your favorite things there: drink, and smoke cigarettes and scratch lottery tickets to your heart is content, but be aware, if you have too many doubles you will be asked to leave. We didn’t eat but next time I will definitely be ordering the mini fried tacos. The icing on the cake were the rad neon tank tops. See photo. Thanks for the awesome afternoon!

My friend and myself were just in there , we usually come once a month we live in salt lake city and I have a tremendous feeling im going to be a winner soon! So anyways....... We get help from this very nice lady, she's the tender, cashier, etc, I understand she does it all but always keeps it at a professional level, today our experience was a bit different, this bartender she is pregnant, We know how they get! But working and being pregnant and getting paid tips or what not depend on the service we give to our customers! Maybe I like to put myself in other peoples shoes, and think she's h having a horrible day, maybe someone passed away, maybe she doesnt have the support of the baby's dad, that I Dont know nor is my problem, but what I can do is help her by giving her an OK tip, arguing with her is not gonna help anything but make myself look like I want to teach o show her no she needs to do something when im looking at the mirror myself thinking about the mistakes I've done and still doing..... But I just wanna say lets be patient and let's love one another by understanding and you'll understand where and how god sees all of us and he is tired of all the shut we do to each other for no reason, try to put yourself in his shoes and see how he sees, I personally admire God for being such a good creator we can have another human being Inside of us, nothing win s not science evil, nothing, and love yourself learn to love you before you say I love god, w are part o him, and want us to learn and belike him, he our king my savoir not a virgin Guadalupe Saint Jude, or any dont love them that s a sin... But anyways love yourself cu that means you love him you love god.... Meditate amd aak inner self what you need to do in life pay attentions when words pop in your head that's your inne self get to know you amd admit to your faults and do something about it... Anyways great place...

My friend and I stopped in for dinner one Friday night. I was not impressed with the parking as it was small and tight parking but that is just my opinion. As for the meal, it was awesome. The burger and onion rings tasted great and the price was very reasonable. Along with the meal, the service was great too. However, I would just like to mention you may want to watch the charges if you use a card (reason for rating of only a 4). My bill was $13 even and I left a cash tip but when my bank finally cleared the charge it was $16.50. I called the owner and she took a day to get back with me to allow for research and when she got back to me, she started the conversation with “this has never happened before ever” I already knew the scenario she is about to tell me was a lie because we all make mistakes and it could happen. The scenario she told me was the waitress (M, I will not divulge full name) had two receipts in front of her and charged me the other person’s tip on my receipt and the other person didn’t get charged the tip at all and she could not refund my $$ and could not charge the other because the transactions were already done and that it would cost me more to process through the bank to get my $3.50 back (which is incorrect because I could dispute the charge). The owner did say the next time I come to visit she would give me my $3.50 back. I have lived in Utah for approx 4 years before going there and who knows the next time I will go there again. I would just like to say your welcome for the additional tip (M). Good thing I keep the 2nd receipt for verification with all the info or it could have been a different write-up on google and a dispute. I am going to start taking photos of the one I sign for even more confirmation of documentation and what is originally...

On a Sunday, there was an awesome crowd of locals hanging out and watching football. Although no hard liquor is allowed to be served within the county on Sundays, the have some very tasty beers, and mixers in a can. The locals were fun to talk to, and all had great senses of humor. I ordered a mushroom swiss burger that came out in good order, not dry or over cooked like you get at some bars, along with a good helping of what seemed to me to be fresh cut french fries. The bartender was nice and amicable, and kept our glasses filled with little wait time. My experience was that of having one of the best Sundays in a long time as a stranger in a strange town, not knowing anyone yet they were all very funny and friendly. A great place to watch the game and enjoy good beers...
