Subway — Restaurant in Manatí

We're from Puerto Rico but have lived in the States for over 30 years. We're visiting PR for the Christmas holidays. We have received excellent service at every sit-down and fast food restaurants we have been to, with one exception: the Subway in Plaza Monte Real, Manati, PR 00674 (store #56363-0). We went there on December 18, 2023, at noon, for a quick bite to eat before going shopping. Big mistake! For context: we drink neither soft drinks nor bottled water, so I asked the cashier for two cups for water. The very grumpy cashier told me, "I can only give you one cup" (she handed me a tiny paper cup). To my surprise, when I went to the vending machine, there was no water! I then asked the grumpy cashier where we could get some water and she completely ignored me! My husband then asked the other associate, a young lady --who was also grumpy --and she also ignored my husband! We were forced to eat our sandwiches without water! In our many years of eating at Subways in the States, this is the first time ever we have been denied water! I don't even want to imagine what would've happened if we had choked on our sandwiches and didn't have water available. To the owner(s)/manager(s) of this particular Subway franchise: please train your employees better and make sure they understand the importance of good customer service. It goes without saying that we have many dining choices (including the Pollo Tropical next door), and we have warned our family and friends to avoid this particular Subway in Plaza Monte Real, Manati, at all cost. To recap: It is ridiculous that your employees didn't have the common sense of giving drinking water to two senior citizens who just wanted to get a quick bite. Me dá vergüenza este Restaurant Subway de Manatí, por orden del dueńo de la franquicia hoy 14 de Julio 2025 a las 7:10pm luego de esperar mas de 15 minutos en fila me sirven en un Footlong de atún una cantidad absurda mínima de vegetales y le pido mas y me hecha otra miseria. El foot long se veía todo falto de vegetales y me dicen que si deseaba mas iban a cobrarme extra. Le dejé el foot long allí mismo y me fuí. Vergüenza para el dueno de esta franquicia hechando unas miserias a unos trapo de sandwiches. Llevo mas de 15 ańos comprando en diferentes Subway atraves de la isla y esta cafrería nunca me había pasado. Y no venga a escribir disculpas departe de la Gerencia por este medio, mejor re-organicen precio porque así no es bueno. Pude ver dos ordenes antes que la mía y le hecharon miserias de...

Pésimo servi-carro. Si tienes 30 minutos o más de paciencia pues este es el lugar indicado. Puedes ver como las personas entran y salen del local, mientras la fila del servi-carro sigue igual de estática que cuando llegaste. Si después de esos 30 minutos decides entrar, pues los empleados escogen ignorarte o aglomerarse en la parte de atrás dejando a un singular empleado manejando todo.
