This is a rare find on the northern coast of Puerto Rico. For years, I had received great feedback from the locals, so I needed to try it myself. Please be aware that their menu is limited to their staple item; "Pastelillos", which you can find with a variety of fillings, even some sweet to have as dessert. Your pastelillos are not ready when you order them, so be ready to wait a few minutes for them to hit the fryer, a wait that is worth experiencing. As a first-time visitor, I was greeted by the owner's wife, Susie. She was extremely friendly and helpful, guiding us through the different items on the menu. We learned that they have been in business for 70 years, and her husband is a third-generation owner who wakes up at 3AM every day to work on his masterpieces. They even have a drive-thru for those in a hurry! This is a spot worth visiting, even if only for a mid-afternoon snack. Believe me, you...

I visited Pastelillos Lamboy per Jibaro Moderno's visit shared in Facebook.

There is comfortable parking lot and also a drive thru for those who do not want to eat inside. Prices are fair and coffee is very good! The pastelillos (aka "empanadillas" in other sectors in Puerto Rico) in general, are very good! It's worth the visit. Unfortunately, they have more dough than filling. The fried dough tastes very good actually, but it would've been best to have more filling since it is basically what we are paying for. The flavor of the filling were all good! I tried 3 empanadillas. First one filled with shrimp, 2nd with pizza & 3rd with crab. My partner had 2 empanadillas. First one filled with steak & cheese and 2nd filled with "pollo tripleta".

Friendly customer service Women's...

Not impressed after listening to locals from Manati brag about this place. We ordered 6 pastelillos and none were outstanding. They are very big but most of it is dough and a small center with the filling. Honestly, we've had better pastelillos around the island. Seating is indoor and with A/C but flies were buzzing around and the place could use a little cleaning and paint touch up. Lots of choices in flavors amd and they even sell them so you can fry them at home. Meh...it...
