Francesco's opened about a year ago to significant fanfare in our community from people looking for another alternative to just a couple of choices for authentic Italian food and Pizza. We waited before we tried them because like many newly opening restaurants they had a few items to work out. The response to their opening found people waiting in very long lines well into the parking lot for pizza and other food orders. Some of the initial reviews we not flattering because no one could possibly anticipate the volume of food orders that were placed and a number of people complained since they really didn't understand the complexity involved in opening a restaurant and being overwhelmed with food orders. Good news, bad news right? We waited still.
About two months ago we decided to give Francesco's a try and placed some take out orders. WOW, we were glad we waited and we were sorry we waited at the same time. The sauce (it's always all about the sauce) is fantastic for pizza and macaroni dishes. The portions are HUGE and the service is outstanding. In addition, the pricing is VERY reasonable especially given the amount of food that is served.
We have our new GO TO Italian Restaurant in town period and you should too. You will not be disappointed. Tell them...
Read moreFood is good. I've only ordered from them twice though both times were online. Both deliveries were BAD experiences. First time I ordered I had to wait until the driver called the store to find out if it was "ok" to come up to my apartment to deliver the food. Tonight when I ordered the driver called me to find out if I was coming down to get my food. To which I said no I'm not coming down I will buzz you in so you can bring it up. I accidentally disconnected the call but driver thought I hu g up on him. So what does he do he just leaves with my food. I call the store to complain want was told they would tell him to come back. Like 20 minutes later I had my food which was only slightly warm. When I made a comment about it being cold the guy was like yeah it probably is. Seems they have a policy where their drivers are allowed to go to individual apartments. You have to always come get it. They won't even deliver to where I am after 4 apparently because nobody is in the office for them to Ieave the food with. So yes good food but DON'T order from them if you live in a apartment. Not unless you are willing to have to walk downstairs every time you order to get your food. They just lost a customer here. I'm not walking down from the 2nd floor every time I...
Read moreZERO STARS!! I tried to order JUST a large plain pizza & was told it came with a salad! What dressing would I like…I said I’ve ordered this before it never came with a salad. She (the owners RUDE wife) said it always does! 45 min and $41.75. I YELLED into the phone WHAT??? No reply. Again I said WAIT, read that back to me! Still silence from her but noise in the background. I continued to yell WAIT, HELLO! Then I heard click. I immediately called back of course & she answered. I said I just called & ordered a plain pie with a free salad & I want to cancel that. She rudely said you don’t get anything free with a pizza! What’s the address? I told her the address & she said she didn’t take an order for this address & that I must have ordered from somewhere else. I looked at my phone log & it clearly reads that I called Francesco’s 7 times! I had her on speakerphone the 1st time I got through & this time as well, so my daughter heard everything that transpired! I told her that I have them in my phone & I most certainly called them! She rudely insisted that I must have ordered from somewhere else. So this time I hung up on her & called somewhere else. Think twice before ordering from this place. I read other posts from disgruntled people & now I’m...
