I had the displeasure of visiting this Dunkin' location on Sunday, September 15th, at approximately 10 a.m. After pulling up to the drive-thru order station, I waited for 11 minutes, repeatedly saying 'hello' without getting any response. As a few cars behind me began honking and a truck revved its engine, I decided to pull up to the window, thinking there might be an issue with the intercom.
When I got to the window, a young man greeted me. I explained that I had been waiting, assuming the intercom was malfunctioning. He apologized, saying they were busy, which was understandable. However, I was taken aback when he told me I'd have to go around and wait in line again. I thought he was joking at first, but it became clear he wasn't. He mentioned that if he took my order, his manager would yell at him. This was confirmed moments later when I asked if I could speak to the manager, and Eileen proceeded to yell 'Whaaaaatt!!!' from somewhere inside.
At that point, with a screaming infant and another child crying in the car, I was questioning my life choices—was it really worth getting yelled at over a chocolate glazed donut? We eventually left with the donut 15 minutes later, but the experience was far from worth it.
Zero out of ten would I suggest this location. I genuinely feel bad for the 8 cars still stranded in the drive-thru line. My thoughts are...
Read moreAll dunks, not just this one....WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FOOD AND COFFEE? We grew up with dunks, every single weekend couldn't live without having a bacon egg & cheese on a croissant with an ice coffee 1 n 1 that tasted like an ice coffee made with real coffee beans for under $3 bucks. Made it past the fake round eggs they used to sell, along with other narly attempts at new sandwiches etc. But now I can't even eat the food at these chains anymore, and the coffee has become awful. $4 for an ok to awful coffee, and $5 for a dried out croissant highly processed faux cheese, and rubbery bacon I almost choked on! Ya this chain/franchise is no longer the dunkin "time to make the" doughnuts we all grew up with in Boston, and when they renamed the franchise they weren't even smat enough to change it to DUNKS! really? Dunkin' love to meet the board of ceo's that blew that one! They deserve to be called Dunkin' They sell doughnuts, but they are never in stock? Going to help keep the small mom n pops places open give them my $13 dollars for fast food breakfast instead., and keep my fingers crossed that someday in new england we will have Tim Hortons all over the place! Starbucks...don't even try n go there...
Read moreI always used to come to this location. Always good service, friendly people like Tanya, Doris, and Robyn run a fantastic store. This review is written after multiple bad experiences that almost mirror each other. Every time I go into this location, I am met by the same woman, Ilene, who must downright not like her life or occupation. I’m not entirely sure who took a piss in her wheaties, but it wasn’t me. I am OVER kind to this woman because of the discomfort she puts in my soul. She has a routine. See me at front counter, give me a dirty look and ignore me. After waiting for however long she feels like it, she’ll come over, probably mean mug me once more and will rudely ask for my order. Being as I’ve never done anything to this woman besides order my beverage, I don’t understand why she feels the need to treat customers like we personally killed her first born child. Also, Ilene, if you’re reading this, your hair is stupid and I’d be willing to put money on the fact that you, your silver honda fit and house smells like alcoholism and cat piss. Have the day...
