Yikes 😱 My family and I ordered 150 dollars of food this past weekend. ONE of the pastas (chicken and broccoli Alfredo to be exact) was, imo not edible. The chicken was so dry you could knock it on the counter. That wasn't even the issue though, the issue was that it was floating in a WATER "sauce"! Since when is Alfredo sauce The exact same consistency as water? Zero flavor...just bad. My sister who got meat sauce pasta with chicken, liked the food, but again the chicken got thrown away because it was too dry to eat. The watered down Alfredo we returned, he offered remade food, but with the exact same issue, so I politely asked for my money back. At that point having to leave my family while eating, to return my food was already crazy to me because just Looking at the food that they gave us, anybody who works in food business would know better Than to give a customer something that looked like that. They made A HUGE PROBLEM about giving me my money back for just that food. Out of 150 dollar order they tried To humiliate and embarrass me in front of other customers like I was the Problem, because I wanted my money back for just that food. After just spending $150 and buying pizza there very often he proceeded to tell me to never come back again over a $32 refund (that in my opinion should have been offered back right away) especially After him seeing The food that I immediately returned once seeing it myself . He also told me how extremely rude I was for wasting the food he remade for me and that I should be appreciative that he remade the food and the he Was allowing me to take back the old food as well.... Why would I want the old food back? I left my family dinner to return it because it was awful. And yesss I definitely did take my money back even after his threat, because none of us will ever eat there again...terrible...
Read more!!!ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I cannot support a business that doesn't value it's customers, and I recommend no one else does either
Our office placed a large order with caruso's for delivery....they forgot to bring an item when they delivered the order. We call them to verify that the item was paid for and missing. They confirmed they forgot to bring it, and told us we would have to come to the restaurant to pickup the food if we want it, after they already received a tip and payment for the delivery.
I drive to the restaurant to pick up the missing item, while the remainder of the food items that were delivered get cold. I ask the manager if he's willing loose business over such a small amount of food. Simply because they didn't want to do the right thing and drive back and deliver the remainder of the order like they were PAID to do!!! He smiles at me, hands me my item and tells me to have a good day.
If you like supporting this type of behavior, which certainly indicates that the customer is only a form of payment and when payment is received then screw the the customer. Then Caruso's is you place...
I expect that the numerous individuals in our corporate office will no long be purchasing our company paid lunches from this location.
It's sad that the poor choices of one or two people can permanently destroy business relationships. Hopefully this is recognized and rectified, since it was such a small thing to simply deliver what you were paid to deliver. But instead they chose to ruin the chance of any future business...
Read moreOne of the best places near the Lititz/Lancaster area! But I've go to share this: the two young girls at the front desk (one was at the drive thru, one was at the register).. were AMAZING. Very genuine, friendly and that is impossible to fake. Class acts! I don't know how they were when not service myself and my family but they were great when I interacted with them. But a guy I presume is a manager- big guy, glasses, goatee- continued to lecture/berate them multiple times during our wait. Okay, maybe he has to manage because they're doing something wrong, none of my business.. except this man seemed to be doing it purposely so that customers could audibly keep hearing it- and other customers were noticing. Does he really need to walk by a table with customers dining and shout back to them he is trying to "teach them teamwork"? Why is he advertising this? He berated them for not refilling a napkin container and an older lady sitting near there audibly sighed because he was just going on and on. It was not necessary to ruin the diner's experience with this; take your staff in the back or advise them quietly when you want them to do something. This guy (who stands over these two young girls) should have handled it differently; it was really bothering us because again, those...
