Manheim Township Community Park — Attraction in Manheim Township

A park that has restrooms during the summer months does not have a restroom available during the winter months it's a sunrise until 10:00 p.m. there's are there are several swing sets several places for children to play several monkey bars and sliding boards at several locations there are two baseball diamonds there is a basketball court we have volleyball in two different locations there are several pavilions it's a very popular place to walk and we even have horseshoe pits that's a big deal in Lancaster...

The layout of this park is a little odd. It's large with a circular drive all the way around. There are several pavilions spaced along the drive with a pretty small playground next to each one. It works well for multiple groups of people to have their own area for a get together at the same time but not feel crowded. Kids will get bored pretty quickly with the playgrounds. I was here for a company picnic. It's clean and has a good amount of parking. It has a nice sized pavilion with 3 rows of picnic tables, an outdoor grill, and a building with a fridge and tables to set up a buffet. There are electrical outlets - someone was playing Pandora through a powered speaker. There is a volleyball court, a kids play area, tree-lined walkways, lots of shade, and open areas to set up games...
