La Cascada Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Manila

I avoid this place like the plague lol in my experience this place is a Mexican restaurant in name and service only... don't get me wrong the food tastes good which is why there's a three-star but the portions are poor the prices I honestly think they make up when you check out, the seating is a little cramped and feels like you're having a meal with the half restaurant. NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER call in an order and pick it up unless you want a quarter compared to what you get for going in but for the same price and if you call and ask about lunch specials they act like they have no idea what you're talking about and will straight tell you there is no lunch prices. I once had a man tell me my order was going to be about 10 chickens and then he hung up on me while I was asking him to clarify the time that the order would take to complete. In town visiting family. We came here on a Thursday night, 4 adults and 3 kids. The man who greeted us silently took us to a table without telling us to follow him or what was going on. To his credit, he did bring us waters, chips, and salsa. After that, we finished the chips and salsa, and half of all the water at the table as we waited for someone to take our orders. The two tables who were in the restaurant when we arrived were already gone and we watched two others arrive, be seated, have drink orders taken, before deciding to leave ourselves. Sad day. My husband stayed behind at the counter to pay for the salsa - no surprise, NO ONE EVEN CAME UP TO ASK WHAT HE NEEDED. Our waiter was sitting at a booth on the phone. Smh. Won’t be coming back...

Do not place online orders!!! Had to cancel my order almost immediately after ordering and was not refunded. My wife tried to call and talk to someone so they told her to come back at 5:30pm when the boss was in and so we did and nothing but problems. On our bank transactions there is always an updated payment for tip and this is the only transaction we don’t have an updated price for. It was made online and for $23.10.
