China Buffet — Restaurant in Manila

This restaurant was pretty good when it first opened. Then there was a bug situation after that, the buffet was lacking in quality and quantity. It was basically a hit or miss. They re-opened within the last year or so and this was our first time eating here again. Let me just start by saying it was pretty disappointing. We ordered takeout. Which means the food should be cooked fresh. Our sweet and sour chicken was overcooked, so the batter was extremely crispy and separating from the chicken, and the chicken was dried out. The pork fried rice was okay. The honey chicken was not super warm. The wontons also were not very warm, and they forgot my order of mac n cheese. (They used to have DELICIOUS macncheese) So definitely disappointed with the lack of freshness. Especially considering it was takeout. It was 35 for all of our food, which isn't bad if they food actually would...

While the food was good, they WAY over charged us. We got six to go plates and it was over 90 dollars. We had to scrounge for food off the bar for the plates because there was barely anything on it to begin with, I get keeping small portions so it's fresh but, this was not the case as it had been there a while. This was during their "dinner rush" where there were only two other people in the entire building. Turned out, they charged us extra for it being carry out, all of our plates were rounded up to five pounds even though we didn't get even remotely that much food. And before anyone says this is normal....the Chinese place in Paragould has 9 bars (to their 2) and for six plates, it's around 60 dollars. I'd suggest the drive there instead of here. There is more variety and the food is better. Don't waste...

This is by far my favorite Chinese buffet . Clean , friendly , good food , always fresh . If I had any complaint it wouldn’t be so much about the establishment as it would be the “take-out” customers. Sometimes dining in can be frustrating because customers will come in to get a “to go” container and they’ll fill it to the brim with one item for multiple boxes which clears the buffet fast for people dining in so sometimes the wait can be annoying because they have to keep cooking and refilling . It’s probably more a pet peeve of mine . If someone wants 5lbs of a certain chicken and that’s it , maybe place an order for that than wiping out the bar . Just a suggestion . It really sucks for those dining in . I normally wouldn’t complain about stuff like that but it happens almost every time...
