Dined out No inside dining At the time must still be under Covered19 Restriction Even though it was raining. still Oh well little thing. Went with my family of 6 And a friend and And her son. Ordered mushroom Swiss Cause it is one of my favorites. Come back to tell me that they're out of mushrooms. OK again little thing Stuff happens. Sounds like someone needs to keep better inventories but OK Still little. We took our orderI ordered fish this time Ask does the tartar sauce Have sweet relish Waitress told me no. Okay awesome I will take that And chilly on top of my French fries. She come back with everybody's food. Pretty fast I'll give them that. fish Sandwich Covered in sweet Tartar sauce! OK now I'm starting to get irritated 😒 Okay again stuff happens we are all human. all my kids are starting to say dad I'm thirsty! I begin to state what do you mean Our food come with drinks That she apparently hasn't brought out yet Okay now I'm getting Mad😠 First thing a waitress does is bring you your beverage in my personal experience. OK now that all the chaos is done And we're finishing up our food. We Give her 2 credit cards my friend and her kid on one My family of 6 on the other Surprise surprise they flip-flop the credit cards 🙄 Speechless So now my friend has over a $100 charge on her card and I have $30 charge on my card Now my friend's experience is Going sideways... 10-15 minutes later After coming back out and taking 6 more orders Finally went back to end and refunded us And charge the right cards. I would give them less stars if I could One of the most horribly experiences I've ever had at a restaurant Write down from keeping inventories Horrible waitress Over price food And Billy were all a joke. Go down the road to big boy at least you know what...

Okay I like hamburgers 🍔🍔🍔. A lot. Too much, probably. Just sayin', I've had burgers in most states and some foreign countries, in ritzy places and dives, as a gourmet item and fast food, so I believe that I'm qualified to pass judgment. My opinion is: DON'T MISS THIS PLACE! Okay, the fries are adequate (not bad, not great), the Malt was made with real ice cream and was pretty good and the prices were quite reasonable. But the Burgers? Oh my God, the Burgers!!! Start with a bakery bun, obviously made that morning, flavorful and soft but not disintegrating untill the last bite; condiments fresh and tasty ( chopped onions like God intended), all on top of a one third pound patty nicely seared on the outside while cooked to perfection inside - juicy but not runny - with that special burger flavor that you always crave and seldom find. I was giddy after two bites, but still never got used to this sensual overload. I don't know, nor do I care, what the meat's fat percentage was, or how soon I'd be having a heart attack. If this burger is why I die - - well, there's many worse ways to go. And I didn't even mention that the place is a drive-in! Service by a delightful, knowledgeable carhop, flashing back 40 years. I can't honestly tell you that this was the best burger I've ever had, but I can't recall any that were better. Ever. If you are anywhere near Manistique, MI, you MUST stop here. Spent the day at Kitchitikipi and thought what a better way to end it off than to get some dinner from Clyde's Drive In.

Heard of it and never knew anyone that has gone yet, so this was a totally new experience.

Having understood the added travel/waiting times due to everyone being out and doing the same thing we knew there would be a wait.

The food was fresh and totally delicious! Kids got the BLT and steak platter. BLT was on point and the steak was to be expected. (Tried to convince daughter not to get it) as it wasn't going to be truly worth it ($12).

Wife got the fried chicken sandwich as they were out of grilled. Asked for Mayo on the side for our meals and wife got Mayo on hers and I did not.

The Clyde burger is pretty good to say the least. 2/3lb between two patties one needs to make sure you have hands large enough to manipulate the burger. The Clyde come only with the buns and meat. I ordered lettuce onion tomato for mine and only got tomato and lettuce. Had to go back in and ask for the onions (diced). Asking for cheese one gets what I can only specify as being Velveeta cheese on it.

It didn't deter me, but kind of surprised me to say the least. At $9+ it's something one doesn't want to just throw away that is for sure, so make sure when asking for cheese you really..... really like cheese... I would say ask for half the cheese that is usually given and one...
