Dairy Kream — Restaurant in Manistique

For an ice cream place and how people come for a something a little sweet! They definitely didn't have the greatest services. We arrived at 845pm and didn't get up to the window til 930pm. There were 9 cars in front of us. I was like wow, they must be short staff for it being the 2nd day they were open. Then, I saw how the operation was being ran. The two girls working one took the order, the other just stood there instead of jumping to action and starting our order. There was still 6 cars behind us. At 930pm at night and they close at 10! After the girl that took our order, she just let the other girl make the rest of our order and she just stood there. So, once again to help with the line she should have jumped in to help. I can tell the owners never trained these girls! Let's hope they have better service for the summer! But, it will be the last time...

It's a good place to take the family for a treat. It would be better if the employees would try harder to actually LISTEN to customers when they're placing an order. The employee seemed to keep messing up the order as we were telling her what we wanted. They got one item correct which was for the person who was with me. But I had to repeat my order. I ordered a large hot fudge sundae with a little extra hot fudge and if what I received was a large, I'd hate to see what a small looks like. She actually asked if I wanted whipped cream and nuts but then didn't add it to my sundae. Perhaps it would help if the employees were required to repeat everything back to the customer to make sure they get it right. We were given no receipt and no napkins. It was expensive for what...

Stopped for 3 hot fudge brownie sundaes. Ordered 3, got two. Was told we ordered two and to get back in line and order the third one…. RUDE. If your employees don’t have social skills, don’t send them to the window to serve customers. Not the experience we were expecting, my son didn’t want the ice cream after the BS. I don’t blame him. I will also add that an older lady with grey hair thought she should add her two cents about us being upset the order wasn’t right. Rude! If this was in the lower peninsula, you’d be out...
