On our way back from camping, we were looking up restaurants to try. I came across Green Street and I am a visual person. I can tell just by looking at the photo's if the food will be good or not. This place was a great choice. It takes me back to sort of old style cooking yet done right. I am a cook and baker. I go to fancy restaurants and I also believe in old school restaurants and mom and pop shops. First off, the price is unbeatable for what you get. We had the cream of cauliflower and that was excellent. I ordered the two broiled pork chops for my daughter and I to share that came with mashed potatoes and gravy with apple sauce. It was so juicy and lightly dusted with flour to give it a great coat. My husband ordered the steak which was huge and honestly cooked right. Not overcooked or dried but not undercooked at all. I just wished we took pictures but it just looked too good that we just dug in. Check out yelp for photo's. I have seen ppl post it online because I want to make it same way...at least...

This is my friend's bar. Known them since 2010. They have owned it since 1986. Long story short.

Owner's, staff and location is amazing. The people that work there are just spot on and super amazing

Food is so good. They have the best drink and food prices around.

Small supper club, don't let this fool you. On a Friday night the bar is full. The dinning room is full and the 3 tables in the bar are full. Then they have 3 rows of people standing between the bar and the bar tables. You know its worth the wait.

When I go Manitowoc now, since I dont live there, I dont find anything that is better then this place to eat so I always will take an hour and go eat here.
