Los Dos Primos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Mankato

I have been here to eat before and thought it was good but this time. I have no idea what happened to them. It wasn't busy we were seated right away. Took our drink orders brought our chips and left us there forever! Had to finally ask if we could order. I got the philly steak burrito which was good. The other with me ordered a chicken enchilada just 1 with cheese sauce instead of red sauce and a side of rice. The enchilada came out with no rice on the side she asked the service for her rice he said yes ok I will get it and never came back with it. We kept trying to get a servers attention and no one would come back to help us or get us the rice. The person I was with cut into the enchilada and no chicken it was onions and peppers. She didn't even eat it. I had to ask for our bill since no one would come back. We didn't get charged for the rice but got charged extra on the 1 enchilada for having cheese instead of the red sauce. So the enchilada she couldn't even eat was 6 bucks instead of the 3 bucks it said it was on the menu. I was so disappointed with them since I had talked to the place up about how...

Edited 9/29/23 LosDosPrimos The new ownership here has made great improvements. First thing that stood out is, its much cleaner. Menus are clean. Condiments were clean. The new staff is on the ball and took care of us the entire visit. There is a new improved menu. Presentation is excellent and all the veggies that complimented our dishes were fresh! The Los Dos Amigos restaurant was good, but Los Dos Primos owners have taken this to a new level! This is the new, "Go-to" place for us when we want Mexican dishes. My only negative is, the Mojito I ordered seemed lacking in the alcohol department. Definitely go and support the new restaurant! The picture I attached is the burrito deluxe.

Terrible experience today. Must be short staffed…took forever to get order placed, and food arrived without utensils and one order was completely wrong, but server couldn’t understand. After waiting 10 more minutes, I had to take the food to the bar just to get a look…server never came back. My wife had to eat with her fingers (it was also cold) and I never received the right meal. I asked for a manager, and was just told no charge and no problem. I left $10 for my beer and my wife’s tea and left. As a business leader, I would be very concerned if I put up the capital to build this place and run TV ads if this is the product and service that will be offered. I think it’s named Dos Amigos because that’s all they working…where is the leader making sure the business...
