Lucy's Donuts 2 — Restaurant in Mansfield

I work near here and since our restrooms weren’t working, I walk inn and ask if I could use the restroom. The lady (elderly, don’t know her name) says it was okay. I got out of the restroom and said “thank you” and then stopped me asking me “How can I help?” I said I wasn’t buying anything and she said that I wasted her water, light, etc. and that it was very rude of me not to buy anything. I told her that that is why I asked first if it was okay before using the restroom since I do understand that in some places they do not allow us to use their restrooms if we’re not purchasing anything which like I said, it’s understandable. But this is why I asked in the first place. She started arguing with me and asking me what country I was from. I apologized and as soon as I was leaving she yelled “you could have at least said thank you” I replied: “I did say thank you ma’am, as soon as I got out the restroom” and she claimed she didn’t hear anything even though I said it at least more than once. Not really nice people here, I wouldn’t had left a bad review if she would have at least told me all of this...

I walked in to purchase 2 sausage rolls. It was about 10 am. Not sure how fresh they were but she grabs a pair of tongs to pick up the rolls to place in bag. I am think "wow...she is not touch my food with her hands (she was on her cell phone when I walked in...never washed or put gloves on). She proceeded to grab a bag when she drops the roll, picks the roll up with the tongs and place the roll in the bag to hand me to buy.

I told her I was wanted another roll cuz I saw her drop the roll. She whisper something and use the tongs to pick up another roll. I explained to her the tongs touch the other roll when it hit the floor. She did not think using the tongs was that big of a deal.

I walked out. This place did not deserve 1...

Lucy's is one of the last good donut shops. If you like donuts, you know exactly what I mean. You'll still get fresh, flavorful, tasty donuts here.

So many donut shops have donuts that taste like they've bought an online course on how to open a donut shop and are using inexperienced bakers with low-quality ingredients.

Not at Lucy's!

While my family doesn't eat donuts as often as we did a decade ago when we first started eating Lucy's donuts, they are still as great as ever when we make it to her donut shop.
