I have eaten at Telford Inn for around 28 years. I took my Dad and my family there yesterday for Father's Day. We didn't have to wait because we had a reservation. This is not the case for other restaurants. For example, Riverwinds in West Deptford, NJ made my Mom and I wait on Thanksgiving for a long time even though we had reservations. I thought Telford's menu for Father's Day was fantastic. There were a lot of delicious options, and made me excited to go here for Father's Day 2026. Our waitress was Hannah S. She was very nice. I requested a cup of coffee with half decaf. I'm trying really hard to stick to this, and it is not easy. I was nervous asking this. She was very understanding and didn't hesitate to say of course and was very happy to take my request. She was quick and efficient. The atmosphere was positive. I did not receive any negative vibes whatsoever. I'm sensitive to vibes. The pricing was fantastic. I really miss the breakfast buffet. I remember J G Cook's before it was J G Cook's Carolina Blue. It was quiter and didn't have flat-screen tvs. Telford now has flat-screen tvs. I miss these restaurants the way they were. Some restaurants are still like this, like the Franklinville Inn which was an amazing experience. However, I was really impressed with Telford yesterday. I ordered steak and eggs. I wish the steak didn't have as much fat (which I couldn't eat) but it was still cooked the way I like (medium rare) and tasted delicious. This meal came with hashbrowns, which were very tasty. I also ordered a fruit cup with vanilla bean dip for an upcharge instead of toast. The portion size was bigger than I thought, and my sister and I really enjoyed sharing this. The fruit was very fresh and the dip was a joy to our taste buds. My Dad and sister ordered the veggie omelette. My Dad also ordered a side of pork sausage. They enjoyed their meal. My Dad and Stepmom had tomato juice which they really liked. My sister had a cappuccino (which I suggested because it's amazing here), and was satisfied. My Stepmom had the berry waffle and added whipped cream. Telford hooked her up, and wasn't stingy with the amount of whipped cream. I don't understand people's reviews here about the new outdoor seating in front of highway. Landmark Restaurant in Glassboro has a highway as well. I don't prefer to eat outside to be honest. There is even a bar outside. From our table inside we could see through the window. I believe they did a great renovation. I think it's great Telford wants to provide more seating. The parking lot is not bad at all. It's free and there is a good amount of space. Overall I'm very satisfied and am really excited to come back and enjoy more delicious food! Keep up this stellar service...
Read morePlease do not ever get rid of the burrata! I went to Italy 15+ yrs ago, and have been searching for comparable burrata ever since. Considering the places I've tried it, it's crazy to me that I found it at my local bar. I will not lie, I wasn't thrilled about the menu changes a few years ago...nearly all of my favs were replaced or changed. But I'm back to being a regular customer because of this crazy amazing cheese.
Edit: After the menu change, we took a break, had a bit of a revival with the burrata, but after tonight...Telford is dead again. Ordered the burrata a few nights ago, sauce changed from balsamic to oily oregano garbage. Went to get dinner tonight, my medium rare burger was a charcoal brick, and it looked like a slider compared to what it used to be. Fry order was wrong. Service was great, but these kitchen changes don't seem to be doing any favors. We were so pumped to have a pub in walking distance, but everything we like gets ruined. Def not worth the high end persona they...
Read moreEvery time my fiancé and I go to the Telford we always leave raving about the food. The last time we went I ordered 5 shrimp( they are 1$ a piece and our X-large n so deoicious)and a crock of french onion soup.Soup made just right w the gooey cheese on top, perfect broth w just right amount of onions and bread. My fiance had a salad n a prime Rib sandwich w provolone cheese. The salad was very fresh,w an array of greens, cucumbers and tomato. The prime rib sandwich has a generous amount of meat and cheese. It comes with homemade chips and a pickle. The last time we went we both had the specials. Mine was a chicken breast in a balsamic glaze with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. My fiance had the BLT cheesesteak. Both were very good and the prices were unbeatable. I believe this dinner was $10 and The Cheesesteak was 8. We definitely recommend the Telford for lunch or dinner. They have a beautiful dining room and a nice bar with lots of TVs if you're...
