Stellatos Market — Local services in Deptford Township

Usually I would recommend them, but my experience on Sunday, July 27th was very different. I called to order the turkey stromboli. I asked if they could make it without cheese and cranberry, they asked the kitchen, they said that they could. My order was made incorrectly with cheese after waiting 30 minutes for it. I noticed when I got home and I called. I was told to come back after another 30 for a replacement. When I came back, I was asked if I brought back the item, I did not because it was now downpouring, I took a bite out of it before I knew it was wrong, then stuck my hands in it to confirm it was cheese. It pulled apart exactly as cheese does. I arrived another 30 minutes later to then be scolded by the person that prepared it saying there is no way that he made it incorrect and not given any replacement. I'd like to add that the person had food falling out of their mouth while they talked down to me. I left feeling absolutely disgusted at the fact that I was belittled and the customer service I received was horrendous. Sunday 04/23/23 approx 4pm. A man behind counter says "what can I get for ya?" I ordered turkey hoagie, swiss cheese, etc and requested the seeded roll. When completed, the man plopped the sandwich on the counter. Oddly, the hoagie felt very heavy.🤔 The one piece of paper used to wrap hoagie was very spotted with oil. Once in car, I opened hoagie paper. My hoagie was not made with the seeded roll as requested. I returned to store. Error was corrected. The man did apologize. I arrived home & unwrapped the unusually heavy sandwich🤔I soon saw why the hoagie was so heavy. The turkey slices were 1/16 thick. Who cuts 1/16" deli meat slices to make a sandwich? Not sure of the type of turkey. It definitely NOT the Homestyle Turkey used in previous hoagies I've purchased from Stellatos. It smelled like ham. The hoagie was sloppily made. The mayo was heavily globbed and slathered. The lettuce dingy. I even had a large piece of Romaine. I spent $9 on this sloppily made hoagie. I don't know his intention of making such a sloppy sandwich but if his intent was to not have me return,...

We love this place both stores I say that bc if I'm riding by one I can just stop. The prices are great there ,they make really good sandwhiches ,AND one the meau they have sandwiches that other people have put together so it's not just the usually hoagies they have them plus one's that are unique. And a corner set up just with Italian selection that's good. Canndy,&nuts sold by the pound that you scoop out and bag and if you don't know if you like it try one. And our favorite thing is the chip steak meat we make our own cheese steaks well my girlfriend does and her steaks are as good no I'm sorry her's are better then any place around and it's partly due to the meat it's really good. They have pies and cakes also we enjoy it and as soon as you walk in you have that beautiful deli smell good...
