The Lookout Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Maple Grove

If I could have given this place a 0 star I would've, unfortunately I can only do 1-5. We come here and even with bad experiences the environment has been awesome. But today at the Park the kids were laughing and screaming having fun. Approached by a server being yelled at and told they need to be quiet. Mind u they are at a park. I nicely asked her come to the parents and gave them address it. Her table was swearing yelling loud and not a word. She told me nope I will tell them again if they're loud, again at a park. Then she went and told the owners son and he delivered our Togo order RUDE, and made it known he was rude. Our server and a previous server was awesome the manager BOBBY awesome came we talked everything was over and we were all happy and boom outta nowhere the server came back and showed a picture of her kids rudely and said I know how to parent and I will again tell them to be quiet. I said we already talked to the manager why are u here being rude again. Because she literally said sorry not listening to u. She rolled her eyes walked away and I went and saw Bobby again asking why she was over there harassing us and the kids at an outdoor park and he said she is also kinda a manager and I'm not sure why she did that. I was coming back where I treat the servers amazing but that was the cherry. Unreal so yes most reviews are right family friendly patio for kids. I will no longer come here or recommend this place when locals on...

We came out a few weeks ago, hoping to try the food and see what it's all about because we were considering this place for catering our wedding. We walked in to no host... with a sign that said please wait to be seated. We waited 10 minutes at which time other individuals came in and were thoroughly confused with where the host was. We finally had enough and took some menus and found a spot. There was an event out on the patio so I could see several servers walking between the kitchen and out back. Once we sat down it took another 5 minutes for a host to appear and we asked if it was okay that we sat ourselves. It seemed fine but took another length of time for our server to come over and ask us for our drinks. When we inquired about the chips and salsa they were advertising she vaguely pointed in a direction and sent me on a wild goose chase. I had to ask another server who told me that MY server should be giving it to me because it's in the kitchen. Eventually we found the chips and salsa and it was barely enough for one person (maybe 10 chips total) they had run out in the middle of the day. We decided to enjoy our meal, however it was another 30 minutes before we got food. The server came to check on us twice throughout, and at the end of our meal we were sitting awkwardly waiting to pay our check. To say we were not impressed is an understatement. The food was good and I will recommend that, but I have never encountered such poor...

We were just looking around for places on this beautiful day and came across here. We saw they had broasted chicken and got pretty excited.

I gave it a try and absolutely no flavor to it. Some parts were juciy and other parts were dry. Not even a hint of salt. Just extremely bland. Corn bread was cold and when I think of corn bread... It's warmed up butter should melt into it.

My wife ordered a Sprite and I don't know what that was but it wasn't Sprite. Carbinated water MAYBE but not Sprite. Zero flavor of Sprite. So we got another one and same thing. They brought another with hair in it... So we just decided to leave.

Mashed patotes definitely didn't taste freshly made. Now I get it... It's not being made to order but it also shouldn't immediately remind me of the stuff you get in the stores. No flavor on the gravy either.

My wife also got nachos and asked for no jalapeños but she got a plate full anyway.

Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We enjoyed her a lot.

Listen... I know this is Minnesota but when Sprite doesn't taste like SPRITE there's a problem.

**Response to you: I didn't say change your chicken recipe, I said it had no flavor. Simple as that. I can't speak for Minnesota and the people thinking ketchup is spicy. It plain and simple isn't good. I've had broasted chicken and this was not it. Sorry not sorry you feel offended by that. It's not good food. It's very bland food. Not the only person...
