WOW!!!! I am sooooooo stuffed I have not ate like that in a long time. I feel like today was Thanksgiving dinner. All u can eat fried chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad bar and desert for $11 plus 1/2 price 22oz craft drafts. I personally put down a 1/2 rack of ribs, 5 chicken legs, whole plate of salad, piece of pumpkin cake and 2 22oz drafts. Now to judge the food; fried chicken was lightly breaded and delicious especially being I don't go crazy over fried chicken, the ribs were so smoked they didn't require sauce however the sauces they had we're both tasty and not over powering, the pumpkin cake was to die for! Originally I thought it was carrot cake but as I was eating it it seemed more like pumpkin pie without the mushieness. If I wasn't so full I would've brought a piece to go however I feel like I'm going to explode. Keep in mind this was my 1st time here being I don't live in this state and it's my 1st time in this state. U guys rock and if I'm ever back in the area I will DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!!. Keep up the good work and hell of a job.

The wife, kid and I were looking for a new place to eat for a Saturday lunch & we decided to come here based on the 4.3 star rating. Our experience with the food & bland taste just further proves our point that Minnesotans hate flavor. Fun fact - seasoning is what people like in their chicken batter for the broasted chicken! Plus, her cornbread was ice cold. Her mashed potatoes definitely were not homemade, they had to be boxed or something. Moving onto my meal the nachos. I had asked for no jalapeños, but guess what was added? Our waitress did offer for it to be taken back as she did catch it before bringing it to the table but I declined because who wants their food to arrive just to be taken back over jalapeños? I then decided to order a Sprite and I had to return that twice because there was no Sprite flavor only for the 3rd time to have a hair in the glass, needless to say I did not drink it. Like y'all... Get 👏 it 👏 together. My son ordered the 1958 burger - wasn't asked how he wanted it to be cooked, so I don't know if that's how you guys do business but even at Perkins they ask. Look, my frustration isn't with the waitress at all here - she did her best with what she was given I felt like. We still tipped her. I wanted to speak to the manager but I feel like so many people complain too much. And like I said, our waitress was fine. It was really just the food. Get some seasoning!

I had read about this place in Nextdoor and it got great ratings for food and sincerity from the owners. Friday night is takeout night and we were all craving fried chicken. When I told Mom about it she was excited as has gone to the place for many years and said they have fantastic chicken. I call them at 7:15 and they said they closed at 7:30 but took our order for a family chicken dinner and a side of Mac & cheese. I asked if the meal could be all dark meat and the gal taking the order said sure. Since we are all dark meat lovers I was thrilled. My husband picked it up and when we got it home and opened the bucket it was a combo of breasts and wings. There was not a thigh in sight. We were very disappointed. If you can’t do it, don’t promise it. The chicken flavor was great, but not what we wanted. And, have to say the Mac and cheese looked amazing - very orange so we expected cheesy - but we all agreed that it tasted bland. I was Kobe giving it a 3 based on this one experience, but am giving them the benefit of the doubt.

I ordered the lunch buffet. I knew better, but thought I would give it a chance. The "smoked" pork chops were extremely dry and had ZERO smoke flavor. Over cooked pork is just terrible! I realize that most buffet food is not really going to be good. But I just got the impression they were only trying to fill bellies and not satisfy taste buds. They definitely have room for improvement. Update: I would gladly pay extra $$ for better flavor! I don't care if it was only $9. People who like this stuff don't really know what good food is (likely because they have never had any) or are afraid to offend others by offering honest opinions. You can't learn or improve techniques if people lie to you about your performance. I understand cooking larger portions/servings can be challenging, but I did the smoked ribs, chicken and corn for both of my kids grad parties. Nothing was overcooked because I paid attention to it to make sure it stayed moist! Add some seasoning to your food and good luck Lookout!

Fun spot for drinks. Great property with lots of space for bands, two bars, and a nice outdoor area.
