This place has it all, wrapped up in a comfortable neighborhood setting. The food always exceeds expectations. Tasty cocktails and diverse beer selection. The staff are friendly, attentive and capable. And the pub charm and summer patio seating have ample cozy spots regardless of the season. Did I mention their catering is extraordinary and capable of fine dining meals that would make Six Smith jealous? Join one of their wine dinners to find out for yourself! Chef James made a custom Wagyu meal for our group of 20 and put on a show of serving too!

The daily menu deserves a deep dive and repeat visit.  You will find flavors well beyond just normal Irish Fare. it is fanatstic from start to finish and features seasonal ingredients and entrees regularly, many of which are sourced from their own farm! While the Fish & Chips, Corned Beef & Cabbage, and Shepherds Pie are all fantastic, there is so much more to offer.  The Salmon entree, Meatloaf and Grown Up Mac & Cheese are delicious and filling staples on the menu too.

But my favorite dishes are the Quinoa Salad (add Salmon) and "Not Your Mama's Tuna Melt" sandwich. Hands down the best tuna melt I have ever had; I'm hard pressed not to order that every time! The Burgers are great and the Reuben is outstanding. Don't miss the Irish Rolls, Jalapeno Poppers, or Scotch Eggs appetizers either. You can't go wrong! Go there once and you...

As for my First time at this restaurant. I was greeted appropriately and I was seated in the back corner of the restaurant. I just got off work... and I was Very hungry because I didn't have time to eat the day before or earlier that day. As per my personal tradition. I ordered a Mushroom and Swiss Burger with French Fries. The Waiter then proceeded to ask me if I wanted a Beer so I then retorted the question back to him as what he had to offer, He then listed off the many different Draft Beers they had in stock. Once I decided on a drink he then proceeded to ask for my ID. As flattering as that question was. I realized as I reached into my back pocket that I forgot my wallet at my apartment and only had my money in my front Pocket. What a let down after 10 minutes of indecision and him listing off the various Draft Beers. I wasn't able to get the chance to taste the one I settled on; I'm all about new Experiences. The Food was good and the Plating was Nice; otherwise other than that I'm sure my next experience will be different if they cooked the burger a little more thoroughly with a Nice Cold Beer after a hard weeks...

I was a regular here 20+ years ago when it was just McGarry's Cafe. Went for my first time tonight since then, boy things have changed. The food was fantastic. Pretzel bites for an app is a must have. Service was ok, the large "booths" in the dining room have got to go. Get rid of them, open up the room. You will probably have room for extra tops, to make more money. Let's talk about the bad. I removed 1 star because you have a 'Please wait to be seated' sign at the entry, we had 2 different servers ask us to wait, by the time the second server came back I told her "I don't care we just want to sit down somewhere." We finally got a table in the cavern, oh, I mean the 'dining room'. To sum it up, the service was slow. We were there for 2+ hours for apps and entreas. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS IT IS BELOW FREEZING OUTSIDE. Removed 1 star for the fact that it was easily 100 degrees in this old building. I honestly felt bad for the staff having to put up with this horrible heat.

Bottom Line: Good food, get take-out, don't step foot in this place unless there is snow...

McGarry’s Pub is a gem! The atmosphere is absolutely awesome, with authentic Irish music setting the perfect vibe. The two-sided fireplace adds such a cozy touch, and the high-top tables surrounded by beautiful natural wood create a warm, inviting space. The patio out back is fantastic for enjoying a meal outdoors. The food was excellent—super fresh and full of flavor. I had the shepherd’s pie, which was hearty and delicious, and my friend raved about the grown-up mac & cheese. Highly recommend this spot for a great meal and a lively Irish pub experience!

I am in town for work and saw this place on the way back to the room. We stopped on a Friday a few weeks ago and have stopped every Friday since. The food is amazing, they have a nice selection of beers on tap. Its cozy and has a really nice atmosphere. I ordered the corned beef and cabbage and am afraid I won't be able to order anything other than that from now on.
