This was my first time going here. It was my wife and I who ate while on our way down to davenport.
It is a super cute restaurant. The inside is modern but in such a way as to make it feel homely and down to earth.
Service to sit was fast and I'm glad we came around 9 on Saturday as it quickly filled up after 930.
The staff was very friendly and kept checking if i wanted coffee or if we needed anything.
The food was fast and delicious.
I ordered the French toast breakfast with a side of corn beef hash. It was awesome. I love when corn beef hash has that nice crust from the flat top on it. the French toast was tender and fluffy. The sausage and eggs were great as well.
My wife ordered the cinnamon swirl bread French toast breakfast and she enjoyed it immensely.
I have nothing negative to say about this place except that I couldnt try everything on the menu. If you like great service, hot and delicious food, at affordable prices, this is the place for you. I highly recommend...
Read moreLong story short- nice building, friendly servers, terrible food . Stopped in here with a group of people, every single order had an issue. Mostly small things, ordered a $14 meat lovers skillet and it showed up in a small bowl that was only filled 1/3, very small compared to a normal skillet. The small scoop of hash browns was way undercooked and it only had 2 small spoon fulls of meat. One of the other people ordered hashbrowns, toast, bacon, and eggs And their hashbrowns showed up hard to the touch, like it had been sitting under a warmer for too long. Everyone at the table was surprised at how bland the food was. Very disappointing. After the waitress gave us our food she asked how is everything? We explained to her the issues that we had with our food and after freezing for a second, she just turned around and walked away. So don’t expect them to fix anything that they make a mistake on. I would not recommend this place unless you are ok with poorly...
Read moreRight off of 61 so it is quick and easy. Prices are reasonable and portions are usually decent. We've left hungry once but that has been an oddity so far, perhaps they were stretching food on a busy weekend.
The Nutella strawberry waffle is amazing and has a ton of fresh strawberries usually. The turkey Reuben is amazing but it doesn't come with the dressing in it so make sure you ask for it. The fries are good and so are the fried cheese curds. The hot beef sandwich is good but it was had on the skimpy day and only consisted of 3 very thin (maybe 3 ounces) but very delicious pieces of roast beef and a small scoop of mashed potatoes. The potatoes taste like boxed that have been doctored up and I usually hate that but they make it work!
We will be back. It is a great place to stop after hiking the...
