Señor Sisig - Food Trucks — Restaurant in Marin City

Finally got a chance to check out Señor Sisig Vegano which opened in Nov 2020. The original and very meat-heavy Señor Sisig started out as a food truck in 2010, blew up, and eventually built a brick and mortar in the Mission. Its newest offering is a separate truck that veganizes the restaurant’s entire catalogue. Insane. And like really good for my belly.

On this first visit, went for their crunch-a-dilla special with tocino. Loved tocino as a kid and had never had a vegan version. It was fine, but was it the right choice for the ‘dilla, probably not. Better off with the chorizo or one of the sisigs. For the next visit, I’m going for the OG—the Señor Sisig Burrito. Stay tuned!

Best Filipino sisig food truck!!! My go to whenever I’m downtown for something fast and on the go. I love the California sisig burrito. I switch from the chicken and the pork sisig whenever I go. I think the adobo rice they have in it is what makes it extra delicious. The burrito is so flavorful... the combination of the sisig and adobo rice with the fries created a very scrumptious burrito. The price you pay is definitely worth it!! My mouth is watering just writing this lol.

For the past several years, Señor Sisig has generously donated meals to our nonprofit program for local, underserved Asian American high school students. It is consistently the students’ favorite meal (volunteers too!). If you’re craving Filipino food or just looking for a comforting, filling lunch downtown, there’s no place better.
