Last year came here and was disappointed with everything. Now that it changed name to “The Lodge on Main” and hearing from a neighbor that the food was excellent, decided to give it another try. Even more disappointed than the last time, a completely miserable experience. We waited 20 minutes before someone came to the table, dropped two menus and said someone will be with you in a minute…..well 15 minutes later a server finally came to take our drink order! Asked if we order food also, the server took our food order. 15 minutes later our drinks came to the table. My old fashioned was, well I have no idea what it was. Awful! 20 minutes later our food finally made it to the table; I had the Halibut Fish and my wife, the Honey Glazed Salmon, the Halibut was hardly warm a chewy; my wife’s Salmon was undercooked in the middle. Very disappointing. It took anther 30 minutes for anyone to return to our table, so we could pay the bill and get out. As we sat and observed, we saw several tables of guests looking frustrated with getting serviced; bartenders were busy taking “shots” behind the bar, the owner or manager busy greeting the entertainment that had arrived, but ignoring everyone else in the bar/restaurant. John Taffer (Bar Rescue) would be out of his mind by this crazy hot mess. If you’re looking for a great Bar/Restaurant—-...
Read moreI will definitely try to give my best review of the establishment.. Very quick seating, nice atmosphere.. Service was not so good, waiter asked me 4x about my drink, it was a whiskey old fashion sour with olives, same response every time he asked, which the 1st 2x he asked I was ok, but after that he should have known the place wasn't busy, and I ended up with a w.o.f. sweet, it was very good but not what I ordered.. when our last person finally arrived ( party of 4) we headed to the bathroom, my brother in law stayed at the table.. Another waitress came and started clearing our table, my brother inlaw politely told her we were still seated there and waiting for our meal, she apologized and moved on.. I ordered then a segrams and diet coke, waiter brought me a 7 and 7, which I knew because he kinda blew me off saying yeah a 7 n 7, I said no segrams and diet as he walked away.. food finally came, it was ok, they did swap out frys for me inplace of more baked beans of which I asked for. The establishment needs better more attentive staff, .. definitely will go back when there...
Read moreAfter hearing Ironworks was under new ownership, we thought we’d give it a try and see if the service had improved. We arrived at 8:40 pm on a Saturday night for dinner, walked past the new owner without being greeted and sat at the bar without a server or bartender in sight. Ten minutes passed before we were greeted while the owner was having a conversation with a group of women at the end of the bar. When we were finally greeted, we asked if the kitchen was still open. The bartender said the kitchen was open until 9 (it was 8:50 at this point) so we asked for menus but were informed the kitchen had already closed. Upon hearing this we decided to leave, walking past the owner again without him acknowledging us or the situation. Despite service under the previous owner being average at best, it was still a nice place to stop for dinner or drinks. However due to the poor service received under new ownership, I do not foresee...
