For those who don't know, this is an old timey drive in rootbeer restaurant where a carhop comes out to your car after you order your food through a two-way radio at your car. They still bring the little tray that hooks onto your partially open window. The rootbeer is served in icey glasses they put in the freezer and is so delicious! The food is terrific and a VERY good value! I got a foot long coney with everything, fried veggies, and a loaded tater tots which had pulled pork, cheese, and bbq sauce! Back east its call a lobster roll. The bun is U shaped. Use all beef 1/4 lb dogs. Commonly called Chicago dogs. Switch the chili sauce to con carne, no beans. Top these off with sweet onions and quality cheddar cheese. Score the frankfurters while cooking to create a diamond pattern.
