Read moreThe ice cream is always good; better than anything in the area. Whenever at one of the area parks for a walk, hike or kayak, this is a must stop. Follow their social media for the most up-to-date flavors between their "44" and "619" locations. If the peach ice cream is available be sure to try it. If this is a place that you have frequented for years and it's been a while you may want to "size-up" your ice cream. The portions seem smaller, but still generous and a good value for the quality you receive.
That said, my concern for supporting here right now is not the business itself, but the patrons and customers. Little to no customers follow what the business has done to help direct social distancing to help keep their employees and customers safe and less susceptible. They have orange cones with signs to guide the line and flow of customers spaced out for proper distancing. There are also only two picnic tables to discourage congregating of people. Anytime I have been there this year, (which has been several) no one has followed the cones, and people still congregate in large groups, do not wear masks, and are not socially distancing while in line. If you, or you know someone who is immunocompromised or just do not feel safe, message them on social media and you make arrangements to pick up a quart and they will bring it out to you.
