Highly recommended to stop & have lunch. So glad we did! The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect. Nothing fancy on the outside...nothing fancy inside either. It looks like the local watering hole. Stopped for lunch & people were in and out, a couple of motorcycles, a couple of work trucks. Everyone sitting @ the bar and sitting w/large plates of food in front of them. Server was very friendly and on top of things. Ordered a drink and it was definitely healthy! No skimping here. I ordered the beer cheese & bacon burger w/chips. Chips were perfect, tasted like homemade kettle style. The perfect was a perfect well done with bacon, onion straws, and a very tasty beer cheese on top. Wifey got the BLT, which she said was very good, and a side of Cole slaw. Cole slaw is milky style and she said the best she ever tasted. Not a surprise to learn it was homemade...also not a surprise that an extra order went home with us. We had a rodeo cheese burger, a beer cheese burger, pretzel bites with beer cheese, and I went off menu and got a chicken Philly with beer cheese on it amd fries. This food didn't stand a chance!!!!! I haven't had a meal these good being put to eat in a very long time!!!!!!!! And they have a cookie butter banana pie. My wife is going to try that because the waitress said it's amazing. We sat outside on the patio and that was really nice. Inside seemed a bit crowded because of karaoke. Our waitress was super nice. She was busy but was still attentive and really nice. We tried the Countyline tonight after many people over the years have recommended we go there and try their steak and fries. Recently the place had closed for remodeling due to fire and just reopened. The Steak and Fries are indeed fantastic and a super great price. We also had the Shrimp and Fries and that was very good also. The waitress was very nice and friendly and the atmosphere was very clean due to the newly remodeled room. It's a very small place and when we walked in I felt like all eyes were on us but I'm sure it's just because they have never seen us before and the place was full of regulars.
