Called in for a pickup order, told the guy I wanted a medium pepperoni pizza. When he told me the total, I said okay and hung up. My husband overheard the amount, and immediately said to call back and just ask what the price difference was for a large instead. Keep in mind I called back within seconds.. I politely told the guy we would like to know the price for a large in comparison to paying almost 13 bucks for a medium. He stepped away and began speaking with another female coworker.. then came back to the phone and said " you weren't asking about the price difference because you wanna change the order right, because we can't change it once it's been ran through the system". I again asked the price difference, to which he said maybe a dollar. Then stated again we couldn't change our medium sized pizza for a large.. even though I could've easily just canceled the order, and placed a new order or gone to a different location. Let me also add I used to be shift manager at Gino's for several years.. and you can absolutely change an order.. especially when it hadn't even had time to be prepared or go in the oven. In terms of the taste & quality.. it was one of the poorest, most miserable little pizzas I've had in quite a while. Total waste of money and my business will go elsewhere when I pass that way in...
Read moreWas on my way back home coming through WV, and kept seeing signs for Gino's Restaurant on the interstate. I finally decided to stop in the Marmet exit and to the Gino's off of Mc Corkle Ave store. Once inside the restaurant seemed nice and clean and well lit. There were multiple televisions on for customers. I was promptly asked to place my order and had my Pizza and Cheese sticks in a short 10 mins or so. One member of the staff filling in from a Western location was keeping tables clean and making sure the floors looked nice. The other employee was also filling in from another store location and she was quickly taking orders and making the food. All 3 employees were very friendly, professional and dedicated to customer service, all while busy doing their jobs. I'm picky about how Pizza and cheese sticks taste but was excited to see and smell them when I got them. Their food was darn good and my tongue was having a pizza party! I'd like to thank Tim Werthall, Joni Haynes, and Danielle Walters all for making my first Gino's experience be the first of I'm sure more when I get to the area again!!! How about some stores in Virginia!!! Don't waste your money anywhere else, the secret is out, this is where the...
Read moreAfter tonight, this place has lost yet another regular customer due to my order being completely wrong, them being rude, and this isn't the first time, either. When I've called the manger back once home to advise her of my complaint due to my wrong order after driving there for pick up. She was extremely rude and said 'your not getting a discount, I was like , ah, ma'ma, I never asked for one. Anyways, I suppose even though it is completely their fault my order was wrong, they expect me to drive back 30 minutes, and in my case, since I ordered two pizzas but just got one, half my family can eat now so I'll drive the 30 minutes to get there to pick up my order, drive that 30 minutes back which makes an hour for me, so I suppose the other half of my family can eat their dinner at that point. Smh! They're completely rude and never want to admit when they're wrong or to make their wrongs, right. so,...
