Good pizza, bad customer service. We visited here yesterday evening around 7:30p. When we arrived there was only one family of 4 eating and while we were there, only one other man came in as a dine in customer. The entire visit there was one pick up order that came in.. My boyfriend and I each ordered a pizza. I got a 7" personal pizza and he ordered a 16" large pizza so he would have left overs for work the next day. While we sat and waited for our food one of the employees was polite enough to ask us if we needed anything while we waited. I received my pizza and figured his would be out shortly. After what felt like quite a long time, the same employee came and asked my boyfriend if he had ordered anything.. (this is the same kid that also took our $40 order.) We explained to him that he was waiting on a large pizza. He then proceeded to go talk to (I assume) the girls cooking the pizzas in the back. He didn't come back to explain to us that it was going to be a wait or that she simply forgot to cook the other pizza. Another 25 mins or passed since he came and asked about my BF food. After being fed up with waiting and no information given on approximate wait time or what even had happened, I asked another employee about our food. She said she would check on it for us. She then went to ask the same employee from before and he looked at her like he didnt know. A few minutes later she came back and let us know that the pizza was almost done. It hadn't been made to cook until the first time the employee asked us if my BF ordered anything. I realize that people make mistakes but poor customer service, not letting the customer know what's going on, doesnt change the fact that someone messed up. A simply apology and explanation of why it took so long would have made a huge difference. 40 bucks for two pizzas (one a small personal pizza) with terrible customer service means we will not be going back. This was our first and last visit to eat here. When we received his pizza he had already filled up on salad and sweet tea, (from waiting so long for his meal) that we simply asked for a to-go box and left. After reading other reviews, it seems that your service is mediocre, at best.

I was coming home from a work trip and looking for a place to eat along the way. This restaurant popped up in my search. Boston Mountain Pizza is a cozy, unassuming restaurant in Marshall, Arkansas. I am hardly a pizza snob and love eating at local places. I arrived during a slow period, but the cashier was very friendly and helpful in recommending some good menu items. I ordered some cheese sticks and a personal volcano pizza. The cheese sticks came with a side of warm, homemade marinara. The volcano pizza had sausage, pepperoni, banana peppers, and jalapeƱos with a hot sauce base instead of pizza sauce. The meal was outstanding! The crust was cooked to perfection, with the right amount of crispness. I especially enjoyed the combined flavors of the pizza. The hot sauce added the right amount of spice without being overwhelming. I'm really glad I stopped by. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Great place for pizza while driving thru town to our destination. Everyone has their opinion about pizza and crust seems to be the driving force to a good or poor review. We tried the thin crust and it was good, however, the manager explained that the crust typically burns around the edges before the middle of the crust is done hence the reason for my 4 star on the food category. Ours was burned! Ordered another to go with the traditional crust and it was not burned. Taste? First pizza was a 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 supreme. I found the supreme to be more flavorful than the pepperoni side. Sauce was not too much not too little. When driving thru again would I pick Boston's or Sonic/Subway? No Boston's it is!

We stopped while traveling with only 30 minutes until closing on a Friday night. They were friendly, helpful with explaining the menu since it was our first visit, and evn assured us they would use clean utensils to make sure there weren't any food allergy issues (my wife has a severe onion allergy). The Calzone and pizza were excellent. They both had lots of meat and the flavors were well blended with the right amountof sauce. The crust was tasty but the toppings were the star of the pizza (as they should be) . We never felt rushed and were able to enjoy our meal with some light hearted chat with Larry while he was doing a thorough cleaning of the dining area after closing time. The restrooms were also clean! We'll definitely be back! There's a reason why his neon sign grabbed our attention, we'd never have experienced that inside was just as bright, warm and inviting. That bit of nostalgic ambience is surely a promise that good home made food and friendly service still exist in rural America and is so worth the investment of your hard earned dollar to patronize small...
