The coffee was delicious and the service was great, also it’s a cute little shop! My 3 stars are for the food and honestly I would have gave 1 star for that, but I didn’t want to bash the entire experience. I ordered 2 latte’s and 2 breakfast sandwiches, my total was $39.00 so I expected really good sandwiches, but instead they came out with microwaved eggs and bacon and a craft American cheese single. Definitely wouldn’t order the sandwich’s again, I would come back for the coffee and service. 5 stars for coffee and service 1 for food.

Edit since I can’t reply to the owners reply.

While I understand what you are saying, if that is the case you really shouldn’t be selling food outside of the baked goods like muffins.

We are going to have to agree to disagree on the inflation comment, I have zero issue paying good money for good things, we spent the whole weekend in the area and ate out the entire time and while it was expensive it was also extremely enjoyable. I do not know how you can justify $39 for two cups of coffee and to microwave style breakfasts sandwiches.

I go out of my way to support small businesses and I almost never go to a chain restaurant and I even understand these places can cost more. But what you’re doing isn’t ok.

Your coffee is delicious and you are very sweet, but you should just stop serving the hot sandwich’s unless you’re going to be upfront about the quality...

What a lovely experience this was for me and my baby!

I first had to use the bathroom, and it was super refreshing not to be told I had to buy something there before using the bathroom (even though I definitely was going to buy something!) The cute bathroom was more spacious than I thought it would be, and well maintained.

The ambiance of the coffee shop is so cozy, and the shop owner was super laid back and sweet, apologizing that there was no changing table in the bathroom. When I told her my dietary restrictions, she recommended the spring flower tea (hibiscus, cherries, etc) with almond milk and the waffle breakfast sammich, both of which were incredible! I’m coming back next time to get the English muffin breakfast sammich which is (drumroll please) ALSO DAIRY AND GLUTEN FREE!

If you want a relaxing atmosphere with more than one option for your dietary restrictions,...

So friendly, very good coffee. A really great coffee shop aroma is special, with the fresh ground beans, hot espresso shots being made - I am in my happy place when I can just be in that vibe, and they definitely have it here.

Got a GF scone and iced Americano - both very good. Bought some dark roast to take home, one I haven’t tried yet, it smells soooo good.

I’d been here before, just to get coffee to go. This time had my laptop and since it was kinda hot out, sat inside. Didn’t think to ask about WiFi because I usually hotspot off my phone. Wouldn’t be mad if they didn’t have it. The porch is great to sit too, when it isn’t too hot or humid for you. Plenty of comfy seating out there; you can people-watch, or street-watch, cause you do glimpse some pretty cool bikes and classic cars driving down Main Street from...

Half Past Moon is my favorite coffee shop hands down! The owner and employees are so kind and they’re all such incredible baristas. Unlike the big chain coffee shops, my coffee order is consistent and perfect every time (never worrying if it’s gonna be too sweet, too much milk, etc.). They even make their syrups in house, which I appreciate not having all of the extra additives. In addition to the good coffee, they also have a good selection of bakery items. Having celiacs disease, it’s difficult to find GF items when I am out and want a treat, but HPM has got a few great choices (muffins, scones, etc). Couldn’t recommend this local coffee shop more. Check out HPM if you’re coming through marshall and are looking for a yummy latte and a good vibe!
