THE BRICK BBQ — Restaurant in Marshall

In what world is paying $50 a meal ok if you have to stand up to order it, you get food on a plastic tray with a liner that's way too thin and ripped, so your food is just on that plastic tray, you get disposable plastic spoons and such, you get your food in Styrofoam cups and such, and the food taste is off. Literally tasted like it was in someone else's mouth prior. Idk how it is popular, but it always looks dead. Seriously, spring for some paper menus at least. The prices at other places for same things is sooo much lower. Says prices change depending on market, but other local places must have a different market. Wouldn't it be cheaper to serve on a plate and wash that plate? Same with the cups and sides. How hard would it be to take orders at the tables? The people there were very nice, but very nice and $50 per person on Styrofoam does...

Extremely overpriced for the amount & quality of food we received. We were new to the area & were excited about trying this restaurant. The anticipation outweighed the experience by far. Everything about this place was unappealing. For having a newer looking renovation to the building, the decor & inside was old, dirty & inadequate. The food was of small quantity & everything had the same burnt extremely salty taste. Cole slaw was warm & I believe to be outdated as it smelled & tasted spoiled. The staff was not friendly at all. We were not greeted when arriving, nor asked what we would like. A woman day behind a counter & just stared at us. I really want to love this place because it used to be great. But the meat always tastes like it is several days old and reheated. The pulled pork is a few large, really hard chunks that are very cold in the center and taste really old. And today they made my fresh fries with a rotted potato. It was disgusting and the fries were black and had an odor. Not burned, or recooked, but rotted on the inside. How can you even mess up fries. Seriously they know what they served and it isn't okay.
