I give B.C. Brewery a solid two stars. Positives first, they have a pretty cool set up with a huge screen, a bunch of games like corn hole and darts, and plenty of sitting and standing space. Unfortunately, the positives end there.
My group of 4 each had 2 or 3 different drinks, and we all agreed that the offerings were watered down or had weird flavors. My one friend said his most favorite beer at B.C. Brewery was worse than his least favorite at Diamond Back Brewery. My first drink was a light beer that had an odd ferment and my second seemed to be flavored with the same thing they use for vanilla candles. The fries were also disappointing because they seemed to be triple fried.
We also found the way they operated the bar to be dubious. It was self-serve and you pay for the beer by the ounce, generally 70 to 80 cents an oz. You could get them to pour you a glass, but they push you to get the self-serve. They then hand you a card to go in the machine, you took a glass, and then poured however much of 25 different beers you wanted. This was the only time you interacted with the staff, other than when you go to pay and they flip a screen with a bill larger than what the machine tracked on your card and an 18% tip automatically selected. My entire party agreed the servers essentially functioned as cashiers and decided not to tip.
As for the crowd, there was a section for young families to sit with their babies, a Facebook group meetup for peace-loving Jewish millennials, and a few people writing in their journals with headphones in. The space functioned really well for everyone to chat, sit or stand, or play games. The tvs showed sail boat raving, horse racing, and the Os getting a 0-4 loss.
Although I gave it two stars, I would still recommend you check it out to see what the interior of a cool bar could be, but don’t plan to spend a long time or a lot of money there. I think it has a lot of potential, but the beer selection, food, and the staff fall short. I’d prefer for another business to take...
Read moreUnfortunately my experience here was not so pleasant. This brewery was our last stop on a brew tour so naturally our group was a little tipsy and engulfed in just having a good time. A few of our friends vape and apparently an announcement was made “3 times” to stop vaping. This was a group of 16 people so obviously we are laughing and talking amongst each other, not paying attention to “overhead announcements”, out of no where the “manager” jumps at our group like a spider monkey screaming, “that’s it we told you guys 3 times no vaping, GET OUT!” I my self did not hear this announcement, and all they had to do was politely come over and ask us directly to not vape, especially if it continued after the first announcement. We were drinking and having a good time, no one was being obnoxious, or trying to disobey the establishment. The beers were good, some staff were decent, but 3 particular people who worked there were rude and crass and handled the situation very poorly. I will never recommend this brewery or go back myself. There are way better ways to handle situations as small as vaping, and even when approaching the young short female manager with brown hair, and calmly expressing this to her she was fuming and made a smile/ smirk, and said “is this better” so to that I said yes and she walked away. Overall do better to your paying customers and properly train your staff who you put in management. I myself am a manager and would NEVER jump at someone like a spider monkey and scream at them over miscommunication and unheard announcements.

No one blew smoke in anyone’s face, nor did we do what was mentioned. If any of this were true we would have been arrested once you called the cops, however even the cops said that they were not sure why they called. Play back the camera footage of this supposedly happening. Next time please tell the truth instead of lying to save face for the actions of your employees,...
Read moreBC Brewing in Hunt Valley, Maryland, offers a fantastic brewery experience tucked away in a business park near the Hunt Valley Towne Center. The space itself is large and inviting, with ample parking and plenty of room inside the taproom, making it ideal for large groups or casual hangouts. One of the standout features is their unique pay-as-you-go tap wall, allowing patrons to pour their own beers and pay by the ounce—perfect for those who want to sample several options without committing to full pours.
The on-site kitchen is another major plus. We visited on a Saturday for lunch and ordered the brussels sprout pizza and fish and chips to share. Both dishes exceeded our expectations. The pizza had a great balance of flavors, with the crispy brussels sprouts and tangy balsamic vinegar making for a delightful twist. The fish and chips were perfectly fried with generous portions that hit the spot.
When it comes to the beer selection, BC Brewing has something for everyone. From their indulgent dessert sundae stout to the refreshing apple pie cider, there’s no shortage of options to explore. We’re not big IPA drinkers, but even their mango IPA won us over—definitely a crowd-pleaser for those who love a fruity, hoppy brew.
A couple of things to note: the brewery can get pretty crowded, especially during peak hours, so expect a lively atmosphere. It’s also family- and pet-friendly, which means you might encounter a mix of children and dogs inside, making for a somewhat hectic but fun vibe.
Overall, BC Brewing is a great spot for beer lovers and foodies alike. With a spacious environment, innovative brewing options, and delicious food, it’s well worth a visit if you’re in the Hunt...
