I am writing not just as a personal customer but also as a business customer. I am a property manager for a senior community in Southern Maryland and I used Captain Mo's to give my seniors a crab feast. I have to say that Captain Mo (I spoke to him directly), didn't disappoint. We ordered 10 bushels of crabs and when I got there to pick them up there were ready and steaming hot. My seniors were so so HAPPY with the crabs. They were heavy and full of meat and plentiful. The crabs were so heavy that a four story apartment community couldn't finish off all of the crabs in one sitting. What really made me love this experience as a property manager with seniors is that when I came to pick up the crabs Captain Mo had a bag full of seasoning packets and I wasn't sure what that was for. He told me he didn't put too much seasoning on the crabs because it was seniors and he wanted to be mindful of that so he put the seasoning on the side so that my residents could season themselves. How thoughtful? And here I didn't even think of that. Needless to say this year's crab feast will be with Captain Mo again....thank you. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because they don't deliver however it is worth...
   Read moreI must start with I love Moe's blue crabs, I live about a hour away but, it was always worth the drive. We ordered a dozen of large crabs, this time i was disappointed in the quality of the crabs, out of the dozen about seven was good. I never experience this before. I decided to call the next day just to let them know. The young lady asked if I saved the bad crabs, (shocking) i replied No. I was told that they needed to see the crabs. At that point I just said thanks, and hung up. Her response was wrong on every level, I'll leave it to each reader imagination. As for me and my family we are done, Large crabs cost a pretty penny and for any business needing proof, feels like they are calling you a liar, they're perfect or you get what you get.

   Read moreWorst customer service ever by a bunch of little girls. No idea of what crabs they have or WILL have. Take orders just to have you arrive and state "we are out." Phone skills severely lacking complete with abruptly hanging up on caller. If that's not enough, the little girls working at register look, behave, and relay a feeling of being TOTALLY inconvenienced by customer. Guess we are interrupting them.
Luckily, today, 8/23/19, I had to search for, and found, a new place near Waldorf. Additionally, they surpass this place in ALL areas. Guess some things happen for a reason.
Hopefully, ownership of this place actually reads these reviews and totally revamps their operation. Well, with exception of men working in the back. THEY give it everything they have.
